During the international break just get him up to speed, if so, he just has to start. During his time on the pitch today, he passed positives forward more than Clucas and Allen combined.

It's 'Sawyers' no apostrophe. 'Tom Sawyer's best friend Huckleberry Finn in the Mark Twain novel of the same name' would require an apostrophe but then he is just 'Sawyer' to begin with. In fairness 'Sawyers' is a crazy name, sawyer just means woodcutter so why the flipping 's' at the end?!

Runs into danger terribly, tries to do what Wilmot does carrying the ball forward but holds onto it far too long and usually doesn't release it before it's robbed off him. Good in the air admittedly, but outside of that I think he's dodgy as fuck. Early days tho.

Ostigard and Vrancic got the same comments after last week too because they both played badly then as well. It’s got fuck all to do with losing. Let’s stop being honest. No idea who the third is. Allen?

In fairness 'Sawyers' is a crazy name, sawyer just means woodcutter so why the flipping 's' at the end?! It might be a combination of a job related surname (Miller, Potter)and a patronymic (Andrews, Williams). I guess way back somebody or other had a dad who used to make planks for a living.

He directs play. He’s a good player who is always pointing to the guy with the ball as to who else to bring in to play it better is on, or which side he wants the ball at if he wants it himself. I like him a lot thus far. Free at the end of the year as well, right?

In all honesty I think only Bursik came out of that game able to hold his head high. The rest were from terrible to mediocre in my opinion. Still we have had a good start to the season, and we have a lot of young players still learning the trade. It will be important not to lose confidence just because of a defeat against the possibly best team in the division. A playoff place is still up for grabs as I see it, but I really look forward to getting Ty back as he has got something in his locker that none of the rest possess, maybe apart from Powell. These kind of players can create or score goals out of nothing and really change the direction of games.

Sawyers can certainly hold onto the ball well and has one or two tricks. Haven't seen anything yet to show he can tackle or lay on defence splitting balls to the front two. (Yes, l know, l want it all !)

We're a team full of young players. There gonna have poor games. There gonna make mistakes. The Fulhams of this league will show up their inexperience.. but don't crucify them there are far more positives than negatives

Sawyers can certainly hold onto the ball well and has one or two tricks. Haven't seen anything yet to show he can tackle or lay on defence splitting balls to the front two. (Yes, l know, l want it all !) I think we've seen the ability he has to make incisive forward passes in both games he's featured in so far. It's just the case that those games have been as part of an entirely changed XI versus a Doncaster team who often had 11 behind the ball, and a relative cameo against Fulham, who'd dominated our midfield all afternoon. I've been mostly impressed by his decision making regarding whether to play it safe or look for the killer pass, given that he's not really played with the same players yet. A run in the team to give him and the rest a chance to learn each other's games. In that regard, he's the player Woods was supposed to be. I agree that he doesn't look like the sort to impose himself defensively, and I think he'll run Clucas close for 'midfielder most likely to lose his man' around the box!
