Another game another great performance from the lad. Ran himself into the ground again. Where are his haters now? Hats of to him!

So much has improved in his game, still hasn't got a football Brain, you can't coach that, but so much to admire.

You can coach a football brain. He's only 23 remember! He's been working hard and everything good starts with hard work. Goarn Jason! ;-)

Never a hater and always said I'd reserve my judgement on him and I'm glad I did....no stoke fan wants a stoke player to fail mate.

The lads clearly put himself in the gym between seasons. He was a twig at the back end of last season and now looks a LOT stronger!
Fair play to him, put in an absolute shift today

Another game another great performance from the lad. Ran himself into the ground again. Where are his haters now? Hats of to him! 4 games gone, calm down And I'd wait until there was a game where most of his second touches were tackles before gloating. Plenty of good running and pressure but clueless near the opposition goal

I can't work out if he's improved massively or if it's because we can now actually watch the game properly in person instead of the tiny television window. He's always available for the ball, works tirelessly and is the pivot around which the whole team rotates. He's outstanding.

Fair enough, sounds reasonable. (And encouraging)

He's now hit-and-miss rather than basically a lamppost the ball bounces off. Liked his attitude from the beginning and thrilled at his progress. SJB is still on the factory floor but he's getting there.

Has a ridiculous amount of stamina and he's quick. That's always something to build on and even as crap he was last year, it's unwise to completely write off players who've got that natural athleticism.
He drove me up the wall at times last season, but he's started this year a different man. Excellent again today.

Thought his first touch was very good at times today and is showing signs of polish in his game with each passing week. I said many times last season he'd improve this season with a more normal schedule and more time between games to work on things, but his rate of improvement has shocked me so far.
I'm absolutely loving watching it.

The bloke must have a fantastic set of lungs.
Never stopped running all afternoon.
Would love to see him get a decent number of goals.

His first touch was good today no doubt. Overall I thought he was a lot better first half than second but had a good game on the whole.

Vastly improved touch and awareness to go with his speed and stamina, a few glimpses of last years Brown but few and far between. Kudos to the lad, he's obviously listened, worked hard and put what he's learnt into practice, can't recognise him from last year and he has proved me and a few others, I must say, wrong. Excellent.

He will through sheer hard work...going back to Walters in the prem days he was never the best technically but got goals through graft and hard work n being a genuine pain in the arse, n im not saying all his goals were like that cos he scored some belters but I see this with Brown...won't give defenders a minutes rest n is an absolute nightmare.

Really good today, especially considering Surridge was poor IMO so he didn't have an effective partner up top. Brown is night and day compared to last season. Should've had a very tidy assist if not for Clucas' awful finish. I was one of Brown's harshest critics last season and basically wrote him off, but I couldn't be happier every time he mugs me off. Fletcher/Brown for Barnsley please.

It's a credit to himself and the coaching staff, he must have put in a shit load of work in preseason to get to where he is now.

Plenty of good running and pressure but clueless near the opposition goal The irony of that coming from a Mama based profile. He scored a good header to put us level and played Clucas through well, would have had an assist if had been vs Swansea!
