Great to watch ,keep the ball looking for openings and so many players involved. Long ball football generally just gives the ball back to the opposition and players get tired trying to get it back .
Players who do not buy into this, just simply wont get in the side

A couple of people have already mentioned this so I won't dwell on the point. I was a bit disappointed to see the ball recycled back into our own half from outside of their penalty area but there are significant differences when compared to last season. (a) it didn't get recycled all the way back to Bursik (b) the ball was always being moved at pace and with purpose (c) it didn't end with a lazy hoof forward.
I noticed v Swansea that the ball through the lines on the whole was executed accurately and, generally, at pace and seemed to be very effective in creating space for us. Some of the off the ball movement was very helpful in creating this space and people seemed to know where they needed to be at each phase of the play and what runs they were expected to make.Long may it continue.

Lovely to watch but not that tough to do when you're three up with 70 minutes gone and the opposition is effectively beaten and not closing down as quickly.
Apologies for being a bit negative about it and it'd be great if we had the players to do this all the time, regardless of the opposition or state of the game, but a bit of context is required for this clip.

You mean context like being 3:0 up at the time away from home against a team who have regularly finished in the top 6? It was this type of pass and move (along with a ridiculous work ethic for the high press) that got us to that stage. This was just the best example of it.

Just a quick mention for Thompson and the role he played in helping stitch the midfield together when he came on. Good ball control, quick and accurate passing, drag backs. Like Tymon and Brown, another we've dismissed over harshly, and too early, l think. Players CAN work on their game and improve.

The kind of thing Man City do for 80 minutes of a football match and people call it boring

The difference between that and what people describe as ‘tippy tappy’ is the intensity and purpose. We passed it around under Rowett but that was aimlessly rolling it across the back four, before eventually twatting it long. This is high intensity shit played at pace. Must be horrible to defend against.
More of this please.

A high press suits him as well as he has good energy and is combative.

You say this, but on more than one occasion last season we were 2 or 3 up and had to settle for a draw, because "we had them beaten", and simply switched off. I would much rather watch this, than a closing up shop to see the game out, what this did was ensure that Swansea didn't really get a sniff of a come back, even when they scored, we just carried on trying to keep the ball and play, making them chase shadows.
