This made me chuckle as I used to run a snail racing enterprise, having snails of equal size, as these will be makes for an edge of the seat, action packed night out. Seems like these guys might help me reignite the snail racing phenomenon. Unfortunately last time I had to import them from China and they weren’t very active by the time they made it to the U.K. www.stokesentinel.co.uk/news/stoke-on-trent-news/ridiculous-snail-farm-set-up-5762688

Was a big fan of Brian in his day. He kind of brought whole gastropod mollusc species into the public eye but they kind of waned after Willo The Wisp took his spot at 5-05pm

Mate of mine raced a snail.
He once took its shell off hoping it would make him quicker.
Turns out it just made him rather sluggish.

Perhaps surprisingly cooked snails are regarded as something of a delicacy in North Somerset, after a local Restaurateur revived a recipe some 30 years ago. They are known locally as "Mendip Wall Fish," and a particular species is used that thrives on old dry stone walls.

Rings a bell. Think was on after Fingerhamster. That’s right and before Hold-all Puss Thinking back, budgets must have been low. A knitted cat and a mouse made out of paper on the end of some dude's finger were the shows of the day. Budgets must have rocketed when Tony Hart insisted on more Play Doh for Morph's mate, Chad

Just imagine how many Roland Rats you get get, new money, for a single Steve Wright. I also believe, having seen recent pictures SW has been adjusted for inflation.
