The club has just announced that the Kop and Tilton have had been closed for the game- presuamably by the council revoking the safety certificate for the upper parts of the stand
Thousands who have paid to go will not now have access- - I tink that makes the capacity 12,000. More news to follow

Let’s hope we can add to their turmoil on Saturday.

While one are we in Saturday? Are we still fine? Gil Merrick. The usual away end will be open, as will be the (ironically) rickety old stand to our left with the wooden the seats.

It will make for a 'lively' atmosphere if a large number people with copious quantities of steam coming out of their ears are sardined in to limited sections of the ground particularly when you consider the pandemic is still lingering around like a bad smell. I'd take care if I was going, in any case there must be a chance the game is called off once the police/public health review the situation.

I think there is the potential for some public order problems here. If the game goes ahead as planned I think those travelling will need to take care if there is a demonstration organised or otherwise

Surely that wooden stand and what’s left of the away stand won’t be enough to house them?
This match could hit the buffers on safety grounds

Say this goes ahead with Stoke in GML 1, 2 and 3 then they will have 4 blocks to our left, 7 blocks above us and 4 big blocks in the Garrison lane Stand. Would be a boiling pot.

Not many clubs I care enough about to hate to Birmingham, Rangers & Arsenal are the three. Can't say I feel sorry for them that much. I did work with a fan who whilst he doesn't represent their fans, constantly gloated that they were the new Man City when Carson Yeung bought the club. I also remember a couple of posters on here saying they wished he'd bought Stoke as Coates had his day. Be careful what you wish for chaps.

Can you imagine being one of the 4000 season ticket holders who couldn't go? And if you do get a ticket, other people you usually sit by aren’t guaranteed to win that ballot too… Shambles. Not to mention they are just cancelling any match day tickets automatically!
