I called in the Club Shop as I was in Hanley to buy tickets for the Fleetwood Match, only to be told they don’t sell match tickets anymore from there!
So then I drive down to the ground to buy some and stood in the ticket office queue for over 30 minutes, 3 windows open out of 4 with a massive queue!
You couldn’t make it up, the service is shocking!
Why they can’t sell tickets from the Club Shop god only knows?
Talking about match day experience, the way the club treats it’s fans is shocking, ever likely folk don’t renew their season tickets or don’t attend, they should be bending over backwards to get bums on seats rather than making it a complete chore to get tickets.

I’m sorry but this just doesn’t chime with my experience. Rang the ticket office for tickets for tomorrow and Birmingham, quite the queue but that’s to be expected and the staff are great

Joe, Michelle, Mark to name the ones I've had great dealings with.

My post is not a criticism of the folk working in the ticket office as they are always very helpful, it’s the systems the club have put in place.
If you’ve got Club Shop in the main shopping centre in the City then why can’t you buy match tickets from the Shop?

Would it be difficult to buy on line and print off with a bar or QR code and naming gate and seat number ?

The one thing to highlight is that the Potteries Shopping Centre store itself has only just reopened after closing because staff were having to isolate, and there are also vacancies for positions currently on the website so I would suggest if only 3 of the 4 windows were in use it could be down to staff availability........

If you’ve got Club Shop in the main shopping centre in the City then why can’t you buy match tickets from the Shop? Might it have something to do with the Potteries not wanting a queue every other week? Ive never had an issue with getting tickets online, can do it in 5 minutes.

To the club's credit I emailed to complain and Josh Whittaker and Joe sorted the tickets for me.

Those wishing for phone based tickets etc Liverpool have introduced NFC ..Near Field Communication , with an electronic pass downloaded into a digital wallet , which is then scanned ..said to reduce touting it has problems Saturdays game was delayed by 30 minutes ..tonight’s by 15 One of the issues the club found was supporters scanning identified multiple tickets on one phone which significantly slowed down the entry flow rate, and are now asking supporters with multiple tickets to print at home if possible to make access quicker and more efficient ahead of Monday’s 7pm kick-off. www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-give-new-ticket-advice-21263229

Might be a silly question,
But is the Boothen end shut tomorrow?
Says home fans will be housed in the tile mountain stand and doesn’t look like you can book it online.

Is it just the tile mountain stand that’s open tomorrow?
Doesn’t let you book the boothen end online
Sorry if that’s a daft question

Yes just the one stand open for home supporters. Is that not a bit silly given covid? Bunching everyone together?

They are fucking useless. I ordered 2 Fleetwood Mac tickets and I've ended up with 2 tickets for a league cup game.
They need to clear their ears out.

The club don't put the catering staff on, oddly the catering company do. Not that it would make the slightest bit of difference to opening a stand

Birmingham tickets weren’t showing online so rang the ticket office.
Quite a long wait, but once through very painless and great service from Joe.
No complaints here.

It might mean a few minutes extra queueing I suppose but the crowd will be low and in the grand scheme of things its not the end of the world.......

Would it be difficult to buy on line and print off with a bar or QR code and naming gate and seat number ? That’s far too sensible Ray. I remember few seasons ago when fans collecting tickets on the match day missed most of the 1st half because only one window was open at ticket office. I will reiterate that the staff are very helpful when I’ve booked the odd ticket to travel from Devon. They don’t charge postage either….well they didn’t not tried this season.
