Opinions eh? I thought he looked pretty good , needs to bed in but a decent player. Was surprised at how big he is - looks quite slight in his photo but he’s a big fucker. 6ft 2in and I didn't realise only 21 years old en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Wilmotwiki also says Steven Fletcher is 6ft 1in, so an inch shorter than Wilmot. Somehow he doesn't look it!

The Witcher was ace.
Geralt of Rivia in Stoke's central defence.

I was really impressed by Wilmot. So refreshing to see us with a central defender so comfortable on the ball.
Alan Dodd also went through my mind. Early days, so let's see.

Bath on yesterday's showing would be very unfortunate to be left out,I thought he was immense and won just about everything in the air.He stuck to what he's good at defending. Yes but he's awful on the ball, so why would you choose him over a player who's equally commanding and comfortable with the ball at his feet? I didn't I don't think Chester is as commanding as Bath, and I said on yesterday's performance as he was comfortable on the ball, well certainly not awful.

I don’t think that’s an awful decision. Chester is fine on the ball, but he also talks a lot during the game, which would be good for two young central defenders.

Ok but if we must play three at the back I don’t see room for Batth unless he plays central of the three. I’d much rather see quicker centre backs play in the two outer positions in case they get drawn out wide. Plus Batth is dreadful in possession of the ball and we seem to want to play out from the back much more nowadays.

Apparently the new loanee's preffered position is on the Right of a back 3 so what happens to Wilmott switch to the Left of the back 3 or CDM?

Who was on Moore for the header? No one. If you watch the highlights Moore ran from well outside the penalty area, even outside the D. It was clearly a training ground move. Someone should have spotted his run and blocked him instead of ball watching. I like Wilmot and think we are lucky to get another young talented player. He is a bit of a loose cannon and plays on the edge but he looks adventurous and breath of fresh air compared with all the negativity in the team the last 3 seasons. Not seen the highlights but I’m guessing Allen should have attempted to block his run.

I'm guessing that our strikers are detailed to come back with the opposing centre halves in these dead ball situations and that our midfielders are detailed to mark the opposition midfielders positioned to make a late run into the box?

Surprised him or Souttar weren’t up for the player of the month with Smith and Tymon tbh.
They’ve been the two best performers.
