I loved Eustace...good all action midfielder, I loved Beeston aswell n Eustace reminded me of him a bit, really good player just horrendous injury record. The odd thing is that he seemed to be reasonably injury free after he left us. He played 74 league games in 5 years for us and 157 league games in 5 years for Watford. OK - he wasn't an ever present for Watford but he did play twice the number of league games for them than for us in the same number of seasons. C'est la vie! I remember thinking his career was more or less done when he left us at 28. But he went on to play more tier 2 games than he had in his whole career to that point. Quite a turnaround really.

A serious contender for the worlds most fragile man. Was with us for 5 years between 2003 and 2008 and managed exactly 74 games. Certainly not entirely without ability, which made it all the more frustrating that he spent most of his time on the physios couch. Probably 74 yellow cards too.

But we got whelan in exchange and an early red when we played them next game

Legs made of crisps but not a bad player Apparently he went on to make over 200 Championship appearances after leaving us which isnβt too bad.
