Sat down for some tea-time football and fucking Songs of Praise is on.
Check and find out that both games are on at the same time. And the remainder of the group games. Yeah, I understand it might cause some teams to relax a bit but wank if you want to fill your evening with some beer and a couple of games.

It's to prevent collusion.
If two teams played earlier, the two teams that play later may decide to play for a draw for example, meaning both sides go through.

Portugal against the the hosts is surely a bigger game than the other one but then again that one does decide the group so???

Portugal v Switzerland has nothing on the game, as Portugal are through and the Swiss out.
Whereas Czech v Turkey is a straight knockout, with it going to penalties if there is a draw!
