Glazer's hoping he does what Brady did for the Tampa Buccaneers. Just the merch alone will double the fee at least.

I've always liked Ronaldo as a player but I don't envy Solsjaer.
He's a colossal ego to manage at a time when his legs will inevitably go and needing to be rested more than he wants to rest.
For the first time in his life the team won't be built around him. Not sure how he'll cope with that.

His mentality for winning and his attention to detail, it could help Rashford and Greenwood because I can’t see Ronaldo getting 30+ starts.

Reputedly the Swedish squad celebrated when Ibrahimovic was injured for the Euros so suffocating was his presence in the dressing room. Don't know if Ronaldo is like that or not but there's a possibility.

Bet the other united forwards are overjoyed.. he will ruin united.. Nevermind Martial - not good enough. Rashford - been average for a while, needs to up his game Greenwood - young upcoming star who will be loving the fact that one of the worlds greatest ever footballers will be playing in the same side as him. Ruin United? I'd bet you as much money as you care to bet that he doesn't.

Love or hate him as a person you can't deny he is the best player in the world. Great to see him back in England.

Good grief
I never thought I'd see the day someone claimed Cristiano Ronaldo would make a side worse. 😂

From a none footballing perspective, he'll easily earn his fee and wages alone. His footballing ability will see him in the top 3 goalscorers in the league and as others have said his mentality will be one of the bits that help Utd to know what it takes to win. His confidence will likely have the same impact as Cantona had with them.
Tricky seeing who will win what between Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd.

Did you think he was just going to keep getting better forever? Nope. He's a machine. Scored more than Lukaku in Serie A last season. He's not declining badly (if at all). His legs will go one day obviously, but he'll just retire. He won't be making any teams 'worse' that's for sure!

It’s great for English football that he is back and at a high level!
Man United could not let him go to city it would have been the finish of the glazers had he gone there and been instrumental in city potentially cleaning up in every competition.
He will earn his transfer fee back in shirt sales alone inside a week now

Yes - but it's when you tell him he's NOT playing or it's time to be subbed the problems start.

One thing’s for sure - if a 36 year old Ronaldo scores 20-odd goals in the Premier League and United bag the title, that surely cements him as the greatest player of all time.

Martials Man Utd career needs ending, he is nowhere near good enough for what they want. Top players thrive on the competition for places so we will see how Rashford reacts.
