I know he's been a figure of fun and mirth ever since 'pops' brought him into the club, but bottom line, like it or not, is he's a Stoke City player and plays for YOUR club!
Sunday (IMHO) one of the most important games of the season, he could well play a pivotal role in that all-important centre midfield area at the expense of the suspended John Eustace.
Agreed, for a 23 year old and from what we've seen so far (in all honesty, that hasn't been very much), he seems like a player with very limited ability.
But bottom line is should we put his paternal background and his lack of showing so far to one side and give the lad a fair crack of the whip on Sunday by getting behind him from the start and try and inject some confidence into him. I say get behind him and give the lad a chance. Shirley, anything else would be totally counter productive!
Your thoughts.

He deserves a chance. Sadly, a lot of our fans dislike the idea of just giving people a chance before judging them.

Defo got to give him our full support. I don't give a monkey's who plays for us as long as they are good enough and give 100%. Come on Ant, hope you have a blinder on sunday

If his old man selects him, I will be 100% behind him and he'll get my full support.

I've never seen him play so I'll give him a chance. He can't be any worse than Delap surely?

He's been at the club for four or five years and in that time I doubt has he played five games for us or more than twenty at first team level anywhere that tells you all you need to know about his ability.
I wouldn't suggest booing him if he is picked but I'd rather be seeing if someone younger like Garratt with potential (who I know is on loan at Wrexham) is good enough.
I suspect it'll be academic anyway as I'm sure more experienced square pegs will be shuffled round to play in round holes...

I'll not boo him because i fail to see the point.
However i also fail to see the point in playing him. It's transparent that he's not good enough at this level, and we'd be as well giving Wedderburn/Thorley/Garratt a shot. At least there is a chance they might cement themselves in the team.

What a load of balls. He's been here, what, 3 or 4 years and has featured about 5 times? I won't be booing if he does play or hurl a load of abuse at him but to say we're being unfair to him is rubbish. It's obvious that he's limited on the ability front as his dad would play him if he was actually any good!

Dont really give a shite if he plays or not, aslong as we win and give a good game to watford and turn the brit back in to the fortress we thought we once had.

I'll reserve judgement, i still remember his cup disaster - but then again the whole side was dire. Apparently, some good performances for the reserves

I wish my dad would become Stoke's manager, then I'd get to play for them. It would be the only way cos I'm crap as well

Sentinel hints that Pulis is going to go for the Pugh option in central midfield. So, all being well, we may well have dodged the Buxton and Ant bullet...for the last time? So it could be Simo Wri-Zak-Cort-Dicko Lawro-Delap-Pugh-Cress Sid-Full

It's amazing that some people are prepared to blame the anti's for anything, even the complete and utter lack of skill posessed by Pulis Jr, which is the real reason even his father won't play him for fucks sake. Yes I have seen him play several times. So have Torquay and Grimsby and neither of those teams have come back begging for his services. Lets face it, the lad is vvank, although I don't blame him for signing a contract that basically pays him money for doing next to nothing, fair play.

He can actually pass a ball fairly well but his other 'skills' leave an awful lot to be desired.
