With the new home kit been released it got me thinking which home kit did I dislike the most and to this day still hate? For me the Adidas home kit 2010/11 will take some beating. Horrible shades of red, no stripes on the back, stuck on badges, pub team template you could buy for £5 from a catalog and an all round awful design I.e collar, zigzag stripes etc and to make matters worse we got to our only FA cup final in it. www.footballkitnews.com/99/new-stoke-city-home-kit-2010-11-adidas/What’s yours?

I don't know but how good does this one look? The quality is high, there is discernible evidence of tailoring, the stripes are red not the rather effete pink that has been served up more recently! In short we looked like we meant business, and we did!

As for the worst you'd be hard pressed to come up with anything more horrific than the 2008 Puma number. I mean what a piece of festering old tat this is

Man that was a good kit, in-fact the away shirt and the black training gear were all very good that season and the quality was solid as well.

1891/92 was a shocker but if we’re talking more modern times the pinstripe kit has got to be the worst.

This kit was definitely made from quite possibly the worst material ever. Used to get nip rub wearing this & playing footy on a hot day! Speaking of nip rub, the green away kit of the same season was the absolute worst ever. It was double thickness & the chaffing was absolutely horrendous..! Definitely a bad season for kits that first at the Britannia was!

Remember seeing this shirt in the club shop & thinking really not a fan of this! However the fact it was worn at Wembley and the memories of Kav & Thorneys goals to clinch us the Auto Windscreen trophy kind of disuedes me from disliking it. The original Adidas club range has the same feeling, hated it originally but I did begin to like it after our Semi Final outing in it & the memories that generated for us. As much as I want to I just can't dislike it.

10/11 by a long distance. I harbour an intense and unhealthy rage towards Adidas to this day for that bargain bin teamwear rag they tossed contemptuously our way

The white with the thin red pinstripe, was an abominatation of a Stoke City football kit.

And it was voted for by the fans! The other 2 efforts we had to choose from were even worse. Some bastardised Ajax shirt and something else horrendous I can't quite remember.

Adidas were wank, identikits out of a catalogue and because of their insistence on the 3 stripes down the sleeves they never gave us striped sleeves, was alway block red.
There was never any thought in to their kits for us, the 150th anniversary shirt was so half arsed it was untrue.

I agree, I think the only Adidas kit I actually liked was the last one they did before we switched to Warrior/New Balance. www.footballshirtculture.com/13/14-Kits/stoke-city-2013-2014-adidas-home-football-shirt.htmlIt’s a real shame we didn’t have Macron for the anniversary shirt as I think they would have made a classic which embedded our history with a modern twist.

1983-1985 - Stoke’s iconic red & white stripes disposed with and replaced with this monstrosity. Sacrilege!!!

Yeah I'd agree. Although even with that kit, the arms were solid red, would've looked better with white sleeves as the last stripes on the body were red, so would have had a look of striped still if you know what I mean. (I get way too wound up over our kits )

Sacrilege!!! to be fair Hedgers i loved it but I was about 7 and umbro i think went pinstripe with all their striped kits that year. Southampton over the years have played with the stripes, was just a bit different I thought.

Not going to lie, I don’t think much of the new kit, mine arrived yesterday and holding it up against last seasons, god it’s dull 🥱

This one this season is a steady Eddie stoke shirt.

Attachment DeletedThe Scoreline shirts got to be up there too. Our red & pink striped effort! I exaggerate slightly but from a distance the pinstripes on the white part did used to look pink 🙄 ..
