We played there in Shawcross's first or second season after joining us. They hadn't put up the "new" temporary stand on the east side of the ground and we were on a rickety old open stand made out of builder's scaffolding and builder's planks. It was lethal - someone near me nearly disappeared through a hole in the planking. I think that was a Saturday - certainly it was a day time game. December 2007, the promotion season. We won 3-2 and Fuller scored twice. A week later he scored a hat-trick against West Brom. Great day. That rickety scaffolding stand though was a death trap. I might be wrong but im sure it was mentioned that a hole appeared under it. I remember was Ric having a blinder and a monstorus queue for the makeshift portaloo.

We got a summer bank holiday away at Blackpool just before the Cup Final, I think. We have had a Boxing Day game there We did in 1999 Cold horrible day stuck on the remnant of the spion kop getting wet, but we won 2-1. Thinking back i wondered how on earth the ground hadnt collapsed cos it was so derelict.

Blackpool fans singing "seaside aggro". That's an old one, which haven't heard in years. Didn’t we used to sing back “you can shove your fucking tower up your arse” Then at the end shout “sideways”

Promotion season. Rooster scored a couple and the day we went top of the league? Great weekend Yeah we were lucky to be under the cow shed but there were hundreds in that open end getting soaked! Loads of people bought those little red and white umbrella hats that day, your head was dry but as jesusmc. said, it was heaters on full blast trying to dry out your clothes in the car!

Obviously a great day out Blackpool would be but I'd love Lincoln to go up. Got some family there and it's a great city with a lot of belting pubs.

Two of my favourite clubs in League 1. I'll be happy whichever of them wins promotion. I am seriously happy it wasn't Sunderland.

I don't know where Lincoln is but my Mum used to always buy their biscuits in ASDA when I wanted Jamborees. Never forgave them.
