Watched the 2nd half only. He made a couple of decent saves. Seemed quite solid. Pleased for him, such a shame how his career derailed after his injury with England. Hope he gets back to somewhere near his best.

Hope he gets back to somewhere near his best. it is crazy how much he declined after his injury. he went from being one of the best keepers in the premier League to one of the worst in the championship. So much talent, how he goes on to be the player he once was.

Just seen the second goal he conceded. Arguably should’ve come out for the ball as it was in the air for an age and dropped 9 yards out. The subsequent shot was hit hard and low just to the left of his foot. Overall, think he should’ve done better and not dissimilar to some of the goals conceded for us.

True. and I think these fine margins apply all the way down the ladder down to lower non-league but yes, the stakes my seem higher at the top. Watching Vardy yesterday and then remembering seeing him at Stocksbridge at 23 in the Evo-Stik leagues. Someone at Stocksbridge told me the scout who picked Vardy to take him to Halifax had come to the game to watch Vardy's striking partner, and at that time all the interest was in that player, who now plays for Harrogate. So yes, fine margins! Vardy was always fearless though.

He was at Warrington Rylands this week with Wayne Rooney, at a coaching session, Rylands are owned by Rooneys agent (maybe Jack's as well) and made next week's FA Vase final yesterday

I see he conceded his now mandatory 2 goals. Palace who have conceded 11 goals more than Fulham? Pretty mandatory for them

If he can get back to where he was pre-injury, then England will have a decent team again. Great attacking set up, but our keeper situation at present is dire!
