Held on for a decent point or threw 2 away? Afraid it's the latter for me, we could have had them so easily, I just think we've stopped believing it's possible and in the end, that one's down to the manager. 5 for me

0 - negative tedious shit again. Set up for the point, only used 2 of his 5 subs (both enforced) no attempt to seize the initiative or go for the win (shock) same old same old.
MON out!

5.
Good first half but as usual we only play for 45 minutes.
Second half was a tedious affair and we did well to take the point.
We are effectively sleepwalking to the end of the season.

About time you were on the ball Sal, did you stay awake this week? 6 from me could have used his subs better and gone for the win. Gouranga.

I can't say how rational people say we were defending for a point, lost count how many times ND was bombing forward second half, let's not confuse attacking intent with just not being very good.

7 took a risk with Montando - very brave move.

5, gave Montando a decent chance in a no risk game which paid off, his use of subs is still shocking and, as ever, he played it pretty negative, roll on next season for more of the same.

6. I like that he started Matondo after a lively cameo and he did show something, likewise up to a point with Tymon.
Yeah he constant fading in the second half is an issue we’re not close to addressing though and why Mikel is this untouchable presence who seemingly has to play 75-90 minutes without fail is baffling. He’s spent before the hour every single game.
Smith shouldn’t play again these season. That Coates lad surely can’t be worse.
But the game was what it was, end of season nothingness.

It was a game between 2 poor teams and the stats show that. We could and should have rolled the dice for a winner but he chose not to. I just can't get excited or positive about the team or management at the moment. It's a tough watch. I cant help but think that the club somehow request that managers are solid and defensive. Hughes played some unbelievable football and at the flick of a switch turned to negative shit. Nathan Jones was touted as one of the most exciting, positive young managers in the leagues (Luton goals scored column would back that up) cam to us and instantly turned negative. MON started amazingly, scored lots of goals, we were good to watch and has flicked a switch to negative crap. It can't be coincidence can it?

6 average performance. Thought the 2 fullbacks distribution was very poor. Positives Matondo, Clucas and Mikel

Second half I thought he was bollocksed from fairly early on and they’d sussed that they could snuff him out by pressing him as soon as he’d got it.

6 - Decent first half, followed by one where we looked like a team with nothing to play for.

Tbf I think Jones went negative because he realised what he wanted to do wasn't working so went too far the other way, and MON started negative and his hand was forced given the position we were in, its just the type of manager he is, very safety first.

I thought that Mikel played well, opinions heh? I thought Mikel, for the most part, had a good game as well. But (and it is a regular thing) he does tend to deteriorate late in the game and he certainly did today. He lost the ball a couple of times in dangerous areas late on in the game today and on one of those occasions it could have cost us a goal. I had no problem with him starting the game - he had a good first half but he should have been subbed 20 minutes or so before the end.
