Chester and Batth together in the centre of your back 4? I genuinely don't think I've seen a slower less mobile partnership. Don't even start me on their distribution.... There’s no one else is there? If Forrester was fit I’d have him in but I believe he’s injured. There's Connor Taylor who didn't play with the kids on Monday night, which might just be because MON is keeping him in reserve should one of the above two get injured or be sent off.

Not being funny, but could Coates but any less effective than Tommy Smith?. For me he set the whole tone for Saturday's game, when after neat build up, he got into a great crossing position and hit halfway up the first man, dreadful...Coates would be like a breath of fresh air. There's been many times this year a number of folks on here have uttered similar words. suggesting Coates should play. It hasn't happened yet, and since Kieran played Monday it seems unlikely he will play Wednesday. However he was taken off in the second half, presumably not injured, so there's every chance that MON will give 60 seconds or maybe 5 more.

Of the remaining games surely this is the one to chuck a youngster in

Goals aren’t the biggest issue. Statistically we are very solid defensively and upper mid table in goals scored. Our issue is turning draws into wins.

Coventry could put 8 players out,yet MON would still go 5 at the back. Where on earth do you get your ideas from. I have watched nearly every game this season and I have not yet seen MON play with "five at the back". We often play with three centre backs and two attacking wing backs but never with a totally negative philosophy.

It’s 42 years today since we went to Wrexham and won 1-0. This was an important end of season victory as Durban’s team successfully aimed for promotion. If I remember correctly an injury hit Stoke team won with a goal by Big Bren just before half-time. Paul Richardson was an emergency full back and Denis played with a gashed leg. There were an awful lot of Stokies in the crowd. A good day and many stories about peoples travel to get there, isn't that fixture Wrexham's highest home league attendance since they built that new stand in 78, the previous record for a league game was against Chester before the 2nd world war.

Don’t remember that. I do remember queuing outside the turnstiles and a Stoke supporter fell out of the sky into the crowd below. Think he was trying to crog in. Daft cunt ! Out of interest why are we talking about Wrexham on this thread !?

If anyone is watching on NowTV red button, we are on the Millwall v Bournemouth option as there has been a mix up. Wycombe v Bristol is on the stream titled Stoke v Coventry for some reason.
