Brown was poor? Very good goal but either side he did fuck all didn’t he? That said if he can do that 20 times a season I will start to like him

His goal was excellent and showed once again that he’s growing in confidence.

Brown may as well have been up front by himself. Norton was crap. I’m all for the youngsters if they are good enough, from what I’ve seen, the best one technically is Wright Phillips. All Norton has proved is that there is an enormous chasm between first team football and the under 23’s.

But we were playing like Fletcher was up front which was stupid.

Well a decent watch the second half from both sides. First half was dire. Not the refs fault but we have lost each time he is in charge at the bet365. Ok Michael Thankyou, mr/ms delight in negativity.

I think our last two substitutes summed up the state we are in at the moment.
We must be desperate to even consider them when we are chasing an equaliser. 🥴

I didn't watch all of it, but it looked like a typical end of season game with nothing left to play for. We looked dangerous in parts and absolutely wretched defensively. It's a game we should have at least got a point of out, but the players made it an uphill task for themselves by not defending properly and not putting a couple of easy chances away. Their keeper made some good saves, ours didn't.
Was impressed with Coventry though, thought they looked neat & tidy.
I hate losing and losing at home to Coventry is fucking rubbish, but it doesn't really mean much. Especially with the team we had out.

I hate losing and losing at home to Coventry is fucking, a rubbish, but it doesn't really mean much. Especially with the team we had out. This in a nutshell highlights the problems at Stoke- nothing matters, it’s a nothing game, a team that can’t be arsed, a manager who ( with this current squad availability) 8 weeks ago was still talking about aiming to finish as high as possible and a Board that doesn’t seem to have any sort of plan- and no, we can’t keep sacking managers. The current manager will keep Stoke up ( just about given the £70m of shit he still has to accommodate), and that is all this squad is really capable of; our hopes are resting on a guy who may very well have suffered a career limiting injury and one who hasn’t even managed to show us anything yet due to injury. It’s totally incompetent and very, very sad.
