It might be worse than that , we may be a rotten club Luton beat Watford , Millwall got a point at Brentford ...NJ and Rowett are both doing a good job on tiny budgets They can run Luton or Millwall fine But managing Stoke is step too far Something is clearly wrong with this club FFS When you put it like that it really is frightening.

We’re an average Championship team.
Won 14 Drawn 14 Lost 14
Goal difference -1
We’re only a goal away from not being able to be any more average!

Absolute fuck all about us. Nothing, nowt, zilch. Today we kept our twentieth clean sheet this season!!!! That is something! Perhaps you need to take stock of what a horrendous period this club has been through and how many long term injuries we have. I think Preston are not a great team and perhaps yes we should expect to beat a team like that but we are definitely still moving forward. Not as fast as our fan's expectancy levels but still getting better.

It's all at MON's feet this, at home against a side that's on a shite run of form and can hardly score away from home and we dish up 5 at the back, it was fucking dire. Gouranga. Did we play 5 at the back? I thought it was 4-3-3? yep. We played 4231 and took the game to to them and we’re nowhere near as bad as some folk suggesting.

We are poor and it's hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel But I do think it's relevant that NJ is doing a good job at Luton , rowett is doing a good job at Millwall and MoN did a good job at Northern Ireland I am not buying it that those 3 are thicko's who know nothing about football I think there are problems with the club Forget the rest. Only one of them brings Vokes on every single game for a reason nobody can explain. For that he needs throwing in the Trent with his P45.

Rowett had north of 50 million of them.

We can still or could blow teams in this league out of the water financially relating to transfers but I can’t think of a single signature we’ve made that has made us better, they’ve been absolutely atrocious and that includes managerial appointments. There’s no way we’re moving forward whatsoever, stagnating yes but inevitably rotting with these owners and the parasite Scholes lingering still taking £1,000,000 out of the club

Results count If the board want loaned out players gone then contracts are heading towards an end. If the board want the academy to be a success. If due to FFP and the board wishes and If staying up is enough then MON is a good manager. He is a good manager. The entertainment value comes bottom of the list. Tell that to the generations of post lockdown kids that won’t bother following Stoke because it’s like watching paint dry. The future is bleak.

how can we blow anyone out of the water financially relating to transfers when we have only been able to spend £2 million on players in 15 months.

zerps, your comments during the first half were all about how well we were playing. Having things both ways?, or are you bi-polar.

Well, the club can’t complain when it asks for my £1000 and is politely told no. When you have zero chance of going up, at least make your home games entertaining- this is by any description a very poor attempt at football.

what do we do to managers and players to make them so mediocre, especially players, we have taken players from teams who have looked like decent signings they seem to start off ok then go from bad to shite, the likes of woods, clucas and even vokes has gone from very average to absolutely woeful, could it be their contracts are too good, they dont need to perform, just pick up their wages.

Not as fast as our fan's expectancy levels but still getting better. But are we really getting better? When you compare last season with this season you need to exclude Nathan Jones period. MON points per game record this season is worse than last season. Last Season 19/20 under MON - Last 23 games played - 11 wins. - 37 points - 37 goals scored. This Season 20/21 - Last 23 games played so far. - 6 wins. - 26 points. - 21 goals scored Six wins in the last twenty three games does not inspire very much confidence. Last season we had playoff form. This season 26 points and 21 goals for, from 23 games is basically relegation battle form. Not to mention entertainment. We had wins by 3, 4 and 5 goals last season. This season has been a lot more difficult to watch.

I think we might be over complicating things. We have too many technically poor footballers in the squad who have low skill levels and limited football intelligence. (Smith, Tymon, Brown) It's whether they have the capacity to learn what they should be doing or improve. Technically poor? That’s a new one on me

Personally think we’ve had a great season. Should finish with a positive goal difference and had injuries not been so harsh on us we would have pissed the play offs. Much improved from the shit state jones left us in. Thank fuck we now have a decent manager.

We battered Preston first half and should’ve been one or two up - second half like a different team - surely this is the manager and not “the team” .......infuriating but I believe we do have the talent to compete in this league......baffled

No one team is any better or plays any better than us. It’s always been a slog to get out. See Leeds etc. If you want to see entertainment go watch Man City every week.... plenty of tickets always available pre covid

What a clever answer. Currently there are 11 teams better than us, and that is probably how it will end. Don’t let something like a fact get in the way.
