Have to say the Irish taste in music can be appalling. Stiff Little Fingers, Of course Stiff Little Fingers were from Northern Ireland, not to be confused with their EU neighbours. But I guess you knew that.

Was thinking more of the traditional songs that surely can only be enjoyed by the seriously inebriated
Blaydon Races isn't Irish mind and that's equally dreadful

It's really good. It was sort inevitable tbere would be some focus on his relationship with Bobby.

Very good programme
Off the field , doesn't hide his illness or the fact those close to him ( his wife ) believe he lead the life he wanted to live.
On the field , he believed the players need to know what they are doing ... keep things simple and apply the pressure .
Might seem old fashioned , but compared to NJ's keep things complicated, confuse the players and bore ( as opposed to press) the opposition...was a winner

'wor Jackie Just watched it on Catchup. Great show about a great man. Hard to watch the lights going out in such a big and powerful character that Jack was. It touched me when his Wife had to prompt him to take off his hat and coat and he just stood there like a little child waiting to be helped... Mental health is such a terrible thing for those that suffer from it, and their families. RIP Big Jack.

I understand Bobby Charlton also has early onset dementia. Is this true?
Very sad if true. Both were heroes of my generation growing up in the sixties.
