Davies 6 Generally OK not tested , Butlandesque flap
Smith 6 OK Souttar 8 MOM Chester 5 Batth 6 Did OK considering his wound RND 6 OK plenty of energy
Mikel 7 Looked comfortable. Allen 3 Dreadful in all departments. The weak link tonight. Thompson 5 No comment
Powell 4 What was wrong with him tonight!! Fletcher 4 Decided he wanted to get back on the bus and grab the best seat
Vokes 4 I think he's got grab adhesive on his boots. Just stand in the penalty area and stick your hand in the air, that will earn you your wages Sub Norton - looked OK

Davies 6, decent, but looked a bit shaky on a couple of crosses.
RND 6, a lot of effort, but too little quality on the ball. Chester 7, good game. Souttar 7, good game. Batth 7, good game. Smith 7, good game. Thompson 6, decent. Mikel 7.5, MOM for me! Allen 6, decent. Powell 6, should have scored when one on one! Fletcher 6, good player, but a pity he is made of glass!
Subs Vokes 4, not mobile enough in my opinion. Norton, not on long enough, but hope to see more of him.

Davies 6 ok considering he hasn't played for a while
Smith 6
Souttar 8 Our best player again
Chester 6
Batth 6 some brave headers
RND 7
Mikel 7 held the midfield together
Allen 4 poor game.
Thompson 5
Powell 6 great start, missed an excellent chance, seemed to be very frustrated once Fletcher went off!
Fletcher 4 missed a good chance - subbed - nothing to do with his injury prone career with us, an unfortunate facial injury
Vokes 4 useful in defence at set pieces
Norton - played confidently, will benefit playing alongside the likes of Powell, Mikel etc

Davies - 10 (he's not called Jack Butland or Angus Gunn so for most that seems to mean he's the 2nd coming of Gordon Banks) Smith - 3 (Edwards should be playing) Souttar - 7 Chester - 3 (got away with his one major clanger per game) Batth - 3 (got away with his one major clanger per game) RND - 7 (steady) Allen - 1 (for pure comedy value) Thompson 4 (for even more comedy value re his passing) Mikel - 10 (thank lord we have 1 player who can pass accurately to a team-mate) Powell - 6 Fletcher - 6 (excellent until he bust his eyelash) Vokes - 0 (not even a point for comedy value. His shitness has gone past being funny now)
YES...Powell's glaring miss has finally tipped me over the edge. I've lost it completely now.

Davies 4 - his judgement of situations was awful. But I hope we sick with him
Smith 7 Batth 7 Souttar 7.5 Chester 7 Norrington-Davies 7
...the defence was pretty solid
Mikel 8 - MoM kept things ticking Allen 5 - off the pace again Thompson 5 - poor distribution
Fletcher 7 - looked sharp Powell 4 - should have scored and just not on it
Vokes 4 - anonymous
Norton 7 - looked lively, should have come on sooner
We competed and the shape was good. Lacked a cutting edge.

Davies 6 - my preferred keeper, one very dodgy flap but otherwise ok
Smith 5 - poor distribution, he's just not very bright, typical night for him
Souttar 7 - another night of showing up the more senior pros
Chester 6 - did alright, worries me that with him in the side we become susceptible to the most ridiculous of basic attacks eg simple ball over the top
Batth 6 no major errors, a bonus, got stuck in & gave their superstar CF a test
RND 7 - solid, a miles better LB than Fox, gets up and down well
Mikel 6 - one of the better games he's had recently, showed some intelligence. Legs are struggling to carry him 90mins though
Allen 4 - passing range, woeful. Impact on the midfield, non-existent. Like watching me as a 10yr old, playing football on the green, with the 'bigger lads'. He proved again, he can't even do the basics. £35k per week folks 👍
Thompson 5 - he couldn't get a regular game at Blackpool, so why/how MON though he would strengthen our midfield, god only knows. He's more the 'footballer' in our midfield, which is a bit of an issue.
Powell 6 - probably cost us a win with the worst of our misses. A poor night by his own standards.
Fletcher 3 - missed his weekly presentable chance, then went off. I like him, but not a chance can you build anything around him. In a promotion-capable side, he's substitute.
Vokes 3 - had quite a bit of time to show what he's about. He succeeded. Always miles off the pace, doesn't win his fair share of headers, and watching him run is a sight to behold. Like one of those traffic wardens in Rome, cars whizzing around him while he's stationary.
Norton 5 - on three occasions in a short space of time, did good things. Looks more technically capable than Brown, based on that cameo, so I'd give him another go.
