Kenny is an honest, hard working , old fashioned manager who is just not good enough for a club like Pompey who expect to be in the Championship at least. A very nice guy but a poor manager. Pity he's not black as then he could complain that it was racism that led to his dismissal.

He personally had hoped for Lee Bowyer and he did mention another name when i spoke to him last week. Pompey fans like all fans wanted their manager out (Kenny Jackett) after his honeymoon period ended and the football did not inspire. He liked Paul Cook when he was their manager but some struggled with his northern roots. |

Paul Cook wasn't popular, his team selections and formations really annoyed a lot of fans, But then I guess most managers get that problem with some fans. I used to go to a few matches when cook was manager and my comment is based on what I used to hear in the crowd and from a few fans that are mates. |
