We need to be challenging them on this kind of thing www.theguardian.com/football/2021/mar/12/low-cost-high-pressing-how-barnsley-took-the-championship-by-stormBarnsley, above us in the table , with a fraction of the budget. Last week Daryl Dike, a free loan signing from Orlando, scored a 20 yard screamer for them, whilst Jacob Brown (2m signing from them) was subbed at half time and Sam Vokes (7m) sat on the fucking bench again. John, Mr Scholes why is this happening? Why can’t our transfer strategy be bigger than the manager? Have we learnt anything? Thank you for your comments. They have been noted and we'll get back to you. That's the kind of pithy response you'll get, coupled with an arrogant smirk from you know who. That's if your question isn't filtered out. Rest assured though, you'll definitely find out if they've had an Oatcake and what sauce they have on them.

I've put a question in regarding how the stadium needs bringing up to date. Simple things you see at many other grounds like player and club history on walls of the ground and surrounding areas.
We are way behind regarding the matchday experience. The place needs modernising.

Never been in Goodison Park, but once went for a walk around the stadium and was impressed by the amount of history they have, and them documenting it all around the stadium.

Please excuse the dodgy music It always makes me a bit queasy how the success of other clubs is derided as just ‘flavour of the month’, like there’s nothing we might learn from. People used to do it about Southampton and Swansea, they did it about Norwich. All those clubs have had their ups and downs but all are in better nick than us. Heaven forfend we might learn something from what they did that worked. ‘Good runs’ don’t materialise from the sky or get stumbled into by accident.

Id be happy if we just used the 5 subs rule like them. He pretty much always makes 3 subs within the hour and usually uses the other 2 as well. And we wonder why they have the intensity.

Agree re Barnsley's effective use of the press, but tbh, l thought that they were pretty limited against us. Certainly not as good as us on those occasions we have got it right (Ty, Fletch, Powell)

Mr scholes given your previous statement that players are watched 25 times before they are signed can you explain why the process you oversee has signed so many players they have proved to be so ineffective at the level required the latest being Brown , Mikel , Matondo

The only message they will get is if no one bothers to join the meeting or submit a question. I now have a real feeling of apathy that replaced anger and disbelief at just what a bloody mess these clowns are making in running the club. They don’t give a shit as their positions are beyond question. Sadly I think it’s going to take another relegation to clear the rubbish out at the top because as long as they remain, the club will continue to be poorly run.

Win bonuses - please can we confirm wether the rumour is true or false.
Do SCFC offer win bonuses in players contracts?

This will be completely fruitless as the questions will be HEAVILY filtered.
The first question should be...
"so Tony (and MON to an extent) do you find yourself extremely fortunate to still be in a job after the utter mess you have made of the club over the last 5 years and would you expect to still be in a job in any other business in the world with such poor performance?
But we all know it won't be

I don't know why anyone would even bother submitting any questions for this as we all know the questions will be heavily vetted, any awkward ones will be avoided, and the answers will be totally meaningless anyway. The Board are bullet proof as it stands and it's only really MON who has a chance of being sacked. Teflon has carefully manoeuvred himself into a secure role and made himself indispensable to Junior.

Such a shame they want to screen the questions beforehand These should be off the cuff questions and let them answer, otherwise what’s the point, That’s why I won’t be bothering to ask any don’t see the point. To be honest the best way to register a protest would be for nobody to register for the event or ask questions. Or register and each every person holds up a red card when on screen to protest at the shambles those in charge have let our club become.
