Why is it that we dont ram home the advantage when we go one up in a game.
The first half today
we had opportunities to put the game to bed, and continually missed chances.
If we had scored 2 before half time i would have fancied us to claim 3 points.
You just knew they wouldnt be that bad second half and sure enough after we fluffed the chances in the first half, they came out with a rocket up there arses and proceeded to rip us a new one.
Proper pisses me off.

We only scored our goal through a cock up by their keeper, in fact most goals we have scored lately have been because of the other teams cock ups.

I'll be honest I was surprised that Brentford didn't sit back happy with the point when they scored, they need to learn something from our top manger.

Proper pisses me off. Fine margins sometimes. Powell had a great chance at the end of the first half. Souttar had a header he should have done better with. Cousins had one cleared off the line. Powell should have done better when he received it in the area, turned and shot wide. If we take any one of those chances then the game changes significantly - all ifs buts and maybes of course. I suppose better quality players take one of those chances (or create a greater number of chances). |
