Got to go out so can't wait for Sal to wake up 8 today form me. Could and should have won by more, Luton were lucky to get 0. Gouranga.

9 today from me played Powell in the right position and we never looked in any danger. Yes they were very poor but we stayed on the front foot and didnt sit back, always seemed like we wanted another goal. Well done.

10. Can't think of anything he did wrong. I'll happily be corrected.
Thought the subs he made were spot on and at the right time. I'll never understand why we don't use 5 every game.

10.
So much entertainment watching Looton falling over helplessly in defense again and again in the last 20 mins. And their keeper going on an expedition to the corner flag by himself. Pure comedy gold. Should have been 5-6 for us.

4231, he's come to his senses.
we look so good when the players are in this formation, it's almost as if they know what they're doing.
i'm really pleased for the first time in months with a performance.
attacking, threatening, scoring, subs made etc.. it's almost as if he's remembered in game mgmt and tactics.
Being slightly critical, i'd still prefer Bursik over Gunn.

When our best players are fit and on form we smash these with any system.

9 When our best players are fit and on form we smash these with any system. You know you can admit 4231 is the way forward? What's with 'with any system' caveat you keep throwing about? We went 1 win in 15 with two shite systems and 2 wins in 2 with 4231.

9.
Played the right formation to get the best out Powell, great high tempo start and got them going after a slight dip in the 10 minutes before HT.

The right system (the vast, vast majority of our highest scoring and best performances under MON have come playing it)
Team looked balanced. Changes were sensible.

8/10 4231, he's come to his senses. we look so good when the players are in this formation, it's almost as if they know what they're doing. i'm really pleased for the first time in months with a performance. attacking, threatening, scoring, subs made etc.. it's almost as if he's remembered in game mgmt and tactics. Being slightly critical, i'd still prefer Bursik over Gunn. Davies is first choice for me. Bursik has good potential but right now his shot stopping and positioning before a shot comes in isn't quite right and we concede a few too many when he's in goal that you'd expect a Championship goalkeeper to save. His control of his area and distribution are excellent though so if he can improve his shot stopping he'll be a great keeper. But for now, Davies is the best all round keeper at the club and was consistently excellent from the end of last season till his injury. I agree on O'Neill, 8/10. Would deserve a 10 but loses 2 points for taking so long to go back to 4231 which worked so well last season. It's clearly the system that suits our players best, FFP won't allow us to go on a squad overhaul spending spree to allow him to sign all the players necessary to make his preferred system work so he should have stuck with 4231 and tried to perfect a system that's proven to work with this squad rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. He's possibly thrown away a great shot at the play offs from being so stubborn.

How was the system so wrong for so long and now we've clicked back into place? One reason is we've had two weak oppositions back to back and we've needed that bit of extra space to get ourselves in the groove - lovely performance, you can feel the confidence flowing back. Poor poor mad Nath....

10. needed to give his head a wobble and change things around and has done that brilliantly. He has received very deserved (mostly) constructive criticism the last few weeks but has done what all good leaders do and adapt. Let's hope this level of performance (and associated confidence) gets us on a bit of a run. The Championship is always all over the place results wise and we just need to control what we can control and do our best. Needed a bit of a pick me up after a fairly crap week in Houston so that was good!

Every decision he made today was spot-on. You might say ‘perfect’. On that basis it has to be a 10. Just wonder whether he’s had a sneaky look or two at the Oatcake because a number of the more popular areas of concern were handsomely addressed today. Well done, Mr. O’Neill 👏

I have given MON very low scores these past few months. But today he deserves a 10,did nowt wrong, 3 goals, could have been a lot more, plus good subs at the right time.
