looks like the BBC have really got their teeth into this story.
Her father, and alleged in-prisoner , Sheik Mohamed is one of the richest and most powerful people in the world.
There could be massive diplomatic implications and it will be interesting to see how this develops. Unless of course the media are asked/told to back off. ?
My personal (totally unsubstantiated) conspiracy theory is daddy’s dis satisfaction with a gay relationship!!

I don't mind this thread all good natured opinions however I saw this advertised and also saw this as a news headline.
I honestly cudnt give a flying fuck and you couldn't pay me to be interested in it. I'm like is that really for news for us in UK to be bothered about.

Most of the media's time is spent trying to get people in sport and government sacked anyway. For what it's worth, I think this story will die a death in under a week. If it doesn't personally impact anyone, then sadly nobody will care. |

I won't hold my breath though, I remember telling a woman at work about the UAE and it's abuses of migrant workers in Dubai and she literally said "I don't care, I love it there so I'll keep going".
