The performance? It was beyond awful. Thankfully Sheff Wed were equally as bad. They were shocking but we weren’t so shocking luckily But still made serious hard work of it Wasteful finishing stopped us from winning 4-0. Second half we played well.

The performance? It was beyond awful. Thankfully Sheff Wed were equally as bad. Second half they didn’t have an attempt on or off target. I’m not suggesting for one second we were wonderful, but to say we controlled the second half would be a massive understatement... We've won that dour game of football because Sheff Wed were embarrassingly bad. That first half of football was up there for the worst standard of football I've ever seen. Was it even football?

No it hasn't, but it was a good chance. Lets not forget they're also playing different positions, Brown has clearly been told to play further forward. My little lad is learning tally charts at school so I asked him to do one for Clarke whilst on the pitch. 8 touches, 5 sideways passes, 1 backwards, 1 forward and 1 tame header. All passes were successful so he had a 100% success rate. I can't work out if you're a great dad for thinking of an interesting way to help with homework or a shit dad for making him watch us 😎

Don’t think Brown is even league 1 standard Thought he was probably MOM. Created 3 or 4 good chances, occupied their left centre back and stopped Reach going forward. Worked very hard out of possession, imagine the manager is very pleased with him He played well against a very strong full back who also had a decent game. I enjoyed their little battle.

Really tough watch, expecting them to equalise in the last 5 minutes given how we have returned to giving silly mistakes away.
Thats just what we needed, on to the next

When you are on the run we are on, you just have to win. How is irrelevant. Hopefully that will restore a bit of confidence and we'll move forward from here. Some positives, some negatives. Agree.

Surely he was offside there? Headed into his path by the Sheff Wed player. Great call/spot by the Linesman. Without that I think the Rb/CB was playing him on

I thought we played pretty well second half. And we must have had, what, two or three shots on target?? I'll take it I thought so too. We had to grind it out and eventually our tenacity saw us through.

Brown MOM for me. Always available and occupied the whole of their left side and excellent work when we didn’t have the ball. Come off it mate. He's crap and should have been subbed after the 2nd minute. What a load of rubbish. Clarke was garbage Saturday so is Matondo for what we have seen. Brown is not great but he worked his balks off and created 2/3 good chances. Let’s be honest until we can get some of the loan players off the books we can’t spend any money.

Apparently you get 3 points for a win these days. They last time we won you only got 2 points.

Much needed and welcome result and Credit to the manager for the selections And the formation thought Allen and Thomson looked ok , Smith much maligned by many but for me he’s our best right back
Mikel god they cameo was up there’re with edu at Anfield and pennant v Everton he needs sidelining until it’s time to walk away

Yes by his standards he should have but I thought he was way way above anyone else on the pitch tonight and some of the balls he played through cut their defence in two. Back to his best for me tonight.

Let's not be too disrespectful to Sheffield Wednesday either, they're much better than their league position sacks.
Since Pulis last game theyve went 6-1-2 in the league beating Bournemouth, Preston, Middlesbrough and a resurgent Derby along the way.
And without a points deduction, they would have only been 2 points behind us had they won tonight
