Anyone with a Panini sticker or a reputation bigger than a performance can stay at home.

Why Davies? Gunn was fine today. Gunn Smith Souttar Chester RND Cousins Thompson Clarke* Powell McClean Fletcher The question is why not Davies he will be here next season Gunn won't so in my view Davies if fit should be first choice only to be dropped to our next inform keeper

Drastic measures required to shake everyone up.
I'd drop everyone over 29 and see what happens. It may not get a result but it will rattle a few cages.
I'm sick and tired of watching > 30 players, jogging round, going through the motions without any passion.
I'd rather watch a group of young enthusiastic players trying their best even if we lose.
I haven't listed a team because I can't think of one without players over 30, which just about sums up the state we are in despite MON's efforts to bring young players into the match day squad. What a mess Rowett and Jones have created.
I realise MON got things turned round last season, but last season's Clucas, Allen, McClean, and Powell are not this season's and even Vokes is worse! Mikel and Fletcher are proving a disappointment and too old to cut it.
Rant over.

Gunn
Smith Souttar Chester Fox
Cousins Thompson
Clarke Powell McClean
Fletcher
Why anyone would pick Allen is beyond me, you can rate him all you want but he's been worse than his usual self in recent games.

Fox was utterly appalling today and 100% has to watch from the bench on Tuesday, if RND is still suspended then I would put McLean there Er no that is just nonsense Sorry, you're right, MOTM performance

Collins.....Souttar....Batth.........Fox ..........Cousins.......Thompson......... Clarke...........Powell..........McClean ...............Fletcher................. If Collins can't play Smith must play. If Fletcher is injured I'll play Vokes, but please not play Brown!!!

Anyone who hasn’t put Powell in the number 10 role clearly knows nothing about football

Gunn/Davies (prefer Davies but will probably be Gunn and don't mind that)
Smith Souttar Chester Fox
Cousins Thompson/Clucas
Clarke Powell McClean
Fletcher
I think the front and back fours are a no brainers, as is the need to play Cousins. Clucas has had a poor season but I could see the case for playing him over Thompson against opposition we should look to offer more of an attacking threat against. Would definitely go for Thompson in games where we have a more defensive setup.

Er no that is just nonsense Sorry, you're right, MOTM performance Fox had a poor game but has been solid overall this season. Fair enough if you prefer RND but McClean at left back over Fox is outrageous.

Do we think any of the midfield 3 are under threat. I would certainly have Thompson in for Clucas, thought he was unlucky to be dropped. Wonder if Coates at right back will get promoted from the under 23's if Collins is out for a while.

No need to pick a team, apart from Collins, MON will go with the same starting 11 v Norwich.
I know MON said there will be changes, there will be, Smith for Collins.

Sorry, you're right, MOTM performance Fox had a poor game but has been solid overall this season. Fair enough if you prefer RND but McClean at left back over Fox is outrageous. He cost 3 of the 4 goals yesterday, Bursik made a couple of errors and people were saying that he should be dropped despite him being fantastic since he came in, why should fox be any different? It wasn't just a poor game, it was disastrous. Obviously different opinions and I'm not saying mine is necessarily right

The difference is Bursik made errors in consecutive games and we have excellent goalkeeping alternatives. The situation with Fox/McClean is the left back equivalent of Bursik having one bad game and the only alternative being last season's Jack Butland.

Would McLean have done any worse at LB than Fox yesterday? I don't think he would have done. In an ideal world RND is there but that's obviously not possible

He tends to when we've been smashed - the trouble with the recent run is we've not had a game where we've been blown out to force his hand. My worry after his comments yesterday is that the changes will involve dropping Clarke rather than changing the midfield.
