The u-23's are flying, seem to have a real settled team now we've binned off the bomb squad and just stuck with the youngsters.....

Might be worth asking MON at a presser, how many he feels will be pushing for the first team in next 12 months?.

Looking at Twitter their keeper has stopped it from being 5 or 6......

Might be worth asking MON at a presser, how many he feels will be pushing for the first team in next 12 months?. My thoughts entirely the other day. From the Norwich game our forwards looked lively and a threat. Is no-one worth considering from this level, seriously no-one? It will be interesting to see if Norwich field any of their players from the same team for their up and coming senior fixtures. We always seem to be slow to use players from these levels, we'd rather have Vokes on the bench.

Our squad has the lowest average age in over 15 years.

Next game for them is March 15th, which is wank.
Should be a clearer picture by then with the league table as we've played 2/3 games more than most. But even still it looks like the play offs should be made with the gap there.
Crap too that the National League north and south have both officially finished now so no chance of getting a few of them games there.

How long til we see Varian on the bench? Is he no.9 or can he play wide?
Surely he offers more than Vokes already

I see Varian's first goal was scored after the keeper saved a Wright-Phillips' shot. Dunno if this counts as an assist - but it should. And of course Wright-Phillips also scored the first. Wright-Phillips is starting to look like he may have inherited the pedigree from his dad and grandad. If he has we may have got ourselves a bargain.

Always gives a boost to club and fans when the younger players are doing well in their games. (I still call it Reserves!)

Is it too early to suggest Wright Phillips should be getting first team game time, or am I just hysterically going down the road of 'Oh look, kid...scoring goals...get him in the team....' ? Looks good enough for the bench to me, not afraid to go at defenders and seems a good one for the 15 mins when needed.

Can you imagine what the rest of the team would look if they were exposed to WP's pace and direct skill?

North West Counties are waiting until after Boris's speech on Monday before having a committee meeting, I can't see how they can finish the league's unless they play each team once, if they've played the odd team twice those results may be scrapped
