news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/stoke_city/7447759.stmStoke City chief executive Tony Scholes has revealed that the Potters have received enquires for some of their promotion-winning squad. The Premier League new boys have yet to add to their squad this summer and say any interest for their current players will not be dealt with just yet. "We're not ready to do anything with our players, our priority is bringing others in," he told BBC Radio Stoke. Stoke have been linked with a move for Spurs defender Anthony Gardner. Meanwhile, the Potters have added two more friendlies to their pre-season calendar. They will play Championship side Southampton and Basque club Osasuna as part of their preparations for their debut Premier League season. Tony Pulis' side will travel to St Mary's Stadium on Tuesday, 5 August while the Osasuna game will take place at the Britannia Stadium three days later.

id like to see rooney loaned out to a championship team this season and then after this season a decison should be made on him as he has got the talent its just can he make it big and loaning him out to a championship side would then allow us to see if he has got enough to play for us

if we start selling anyone before we buy thats asking for trouble, we all know certain players arent good enough but its got to be replacements in first who are a better quality

I would think that all the Championship manager's will be looking at our squad for players that might not play week in, week out in the Prem. Players like
Cresswell Pugh Simmo Dicko Griff Mama
The problem is though, we will need these players for squad depth.

With 7 subs this year al the above players might be considered for the bench, so i wouldn't think it's any of them that will be going. hopefully it will be the likes of Pericard and Parkin.

Get rid of Pericant, Pieking, Buxton and Ant Jr. Wilco and Dicko is a must-keep for the time being. They might not be good enough for The Prem, but let them try and see if they sink or swim. I can remember Stoke selling Bould and Dixon on a cheap many moons ago, lets not sell any of our young talents before they have been tested.
