....in early/mid July. I'm typing this in belated answer to someone who last week asked when we would know, as he was trying to arrange some family event, in the autumn, as I suspect many others are. This is the ruling. Approx three weeks after the fixtures are announced, television sports moguls will detail all games to be televised, as far as the end of November. After that, they try to give six weeks notice and, in February (approx,) when the PL table is starting to take shape and after early Cup fixtures, they usually manage to give six weeks notice. The later it gets, its a month, or even less towards the end. No, it's not satisfctory but that's part of the obscene financial deal, when the piper, not surprisingly, insists on calling the tune. I hope this helps. Please don't complain that I didn't respond sooner, but if, like me, you receive an average of forty e-mails every single day, many needing a response (and no, fellas, actually less than 10% are social messages you'll realise why I'm sometimes a bit late with comment. Hope this helps some of you. The message is, be patient for just a few more weeks.

Only 40 emails a day? Can I have a job at your place please? I get over 100 everyday including Saturday and Sunday and none of them are social.

Cheers, Monica. I presume that Setanta will announce their televised schedule at roughly the same time as Sky?

Thanks for that Monica. The biggest downside for me of being in the Premiership is going to be Sunday games and Monday night games. Football should be played on a Saturday at 3pm.

fornside, they are all announced together. U2, I'm retired, so none are work-related, either! Afraid that they're the organisations (mainly football) to which I belong. And they're still called hobbies! Not since computers took off, they aint.
