How are all these footballers managing to get hair cuts in lockdown ? Does each club have its own hairdresser as part of their secure bubble ? Pogba had a complete makeover from last week to yesterday.

I had to cut my own as I'm living alone. Tell you what, you'd think it'd be hard to fuck up a short back and sides but it turns out that is not the case.

The shit deffo have their own stylist. Fergie used to tell the players when they’re having a trim and brush, and would then call the barber to ask if they were there.

Fancy haircuts are not essential.
Consequently, are they illegal?

Judging by the look of some players - they do it themselves...
When they're on acid.

Slightly off topic but still talking haircuts ...I recall dad coming home from training ..a little later than usual sporting a “Kevin Keegan” curly perm ....yep ...my brother and I pissed ourselves laughing as soon as he walked through the door...needless to say after the ribbing we gave him...it only lasted a couple of days before he had it cut ....thank goodness....miss him so much, but the memories male me smile ..😀

Probably the same way that those who present and analyse football and anyone that work's in TV for that matter I'd imagine. In the grand scheme of things, is footballers getting haircuts really anything to worry about?

Depends if the haircuts are taking place "in house" by a barber/hairdresser that has been routinely tested like other staff members or if the players are all off getting privately done haircuts.

Started doing my own hair and beard since the lockdown, not that there is that much of it on the top of my head these days. If it grew properly (and the wife didn't have a say in the matter) I'd probably have been growing it all year.

Pogba had a complete makeover from last week to yesterday. I thought exactly the same The Germans are already all over it. He’s not the only person in his profession to have been angered, as it turns out the German Hairdresser Association has spotted players taking to the field with what look suspiciously like fresh and expensive haircuts during lockdown, when salons are supposed to be closed for business and home visits by hairdressers are also strictly verboten. “It is with great amazement we noticed that over the last match days of Bundesliga a vast majority of the professional footballers took to the pitch with new haircuts,” the association seethed in a commendably sarcastic open letter to the German Football Association (DFB), going on to observe that the chops and bangs in question “can only be cut by a professional hairdresser with professional Asking for a bit of solidarity for those in their profession who are abiding by the rules, the statement also called on German football authorities to put a stop to the illegal trade in bootleg barnets, saying the sight of neat coiffures in the German top flight was making their more law-abiding members angry. “Freshly-cut football stars put an entire branch under pressure,” it added. “Many hairdressers are threatened in their existence. The discontent with the top styled football pros is growing. They lead to customers calling and asking for work on the side and breaches of the corona regulations like visits at home.” While it has yet to respond, the DFB is expected to appease the unhappy stylists by advising the Bundesliga’s finest to keep their hair on.

It gives the impression to the dafter element of society that life can carry on as normal and so consequently they ignore the rules.

This will get trotted out now by some at every opportunity. Also don’t forget that 200 officers isn’t even a third of a percent of the police. Unprofessional though and it will make their colleagues job harder now.
