Said at the time course and distance winner was what we really needed , he’d have been a great choice for us , it’s his experience of this league that’s telling over O’Neil Bet you were gutted when we beat them? “ You stupid boy “

And a game in hand they are a pretty average bunch but he’s sweating the asset unbelievably hard

I don’t particularly but the pint is since they won here last season one club has moved on and the other is now standing still , we are no better now than we were in winning our last two games last season indeed I’d say worse and that’s down to recruitment and Campbell I don5 think started either of those

How in any way, is our current position “worse” than that? After 25 games last season we were in 21st place on 21 points. Ahead of Barnsley and Luton on goals difference. Why are you referring to our home game to Middlesbrough last season? What is the relevance of that? We’ve played them at home already this season and beat them quite easily.

Remember playing against Barnes when Burnley came to our place in our relegation season. Possibly an even bigger shithouse than Powell.

Remember playing against Barnes when Burnley came to our place in our relegation season. Possibly an even bigger shithouse than Powell. Only beaten by Danny Ings when they won at the Brit and they fell like flies, including Heaton the keepers cramp in the 80th minute.

Was that the game where they went a couple of goals up then got head injuries every five minutes? That was Ings. Every injury was a head injury and Heaton went down with cramp. All by design and under instruction of a manager who, publicly, professes to hate diving and gamesmanship

Boro 2 up at Forest Warnock has is knockers but i would back him to get them into the play offs. Said at the time course and distance winner was what we really needed , he’d have been a great choice for us , it’s his experience of this league that’s telling over O’Neil I'd rather wipe Covid in my eyes than have that bitter geriatric cunt manage my club.

When you see away results like this makes you realise. Though we had some great times in our 10 year stay in the prem. we didn’t bring much to the table as regards massive away wins at top clubs.

I met with Ings on the Tuesday after that game. He was a lovely fella and he just kind of laughed with a tinge of embarrassment, particularly on Heaton's cramp moment.

This season is a misnomer though as without the crowds there is less of a "home advantage". Last nights game reminded me strongly of Stoke in the Prem in the early years, hard to beat, every man looking knackered at full time having put in a full shift each and sneaking a winning goal.

We didn’t but we had some bloody great days though bud. The Spurs win was unbelievable, the Man City one as well. I would have loved us to win at United or Arsenal though. But beating them down here was bloody fantastic enough
