Going to be an interesting few days.
7 out of 12 League One games postponed tonight. Going to be a fixture pile up.
Clubs getting twitchy, Club Doctors advising against playing.
Will be interesting to see how many FA Cup games go ahead, will all teams with Covid be eliminated?
I imagine small clubs will, but would the FA eliminate teams like Man City?

It will happen very soon, and rightly so.

It's almost inevitable that some football will be suspended just a question of when and what levels.

Take six weeks off an treat it like a winter break. The demands on players are beyond exceptional anyway, and there's pressure to reduce any routes of infections with any new 'tier 5'.

I can see it being suspended by mid Jan and rightly so. It would also do us a huge favour

Switch to the LFT test and all the cases would disappear cheaper and faster so would have a chance of finding any real infections before they spread as well.

It's almost inevitable that some football will be suspended just a question of when and what levels. some teams in lower leagues aren't playing now they've gone into tier 3, just can't afford it with a maximum of 150 in the ground, which includes stewards and volunteers, the officials in NW counties cost nearly £300 a match

Big Sam wants it stopping he shitting him sen I agree with him but also think he's a massive bell end given he took the job in the midst of a pandemic only a couple of weeks ago - if he was that worried just stick to his bubble with Alan Brazil.

Completely agree, he's been in the job what 2 weeks and knew exactly what is/has been going on in the country. A cynic might think he pushing this as he wants a few weeks off to drill his defensive unit on the training ground and not have to lose any further ground on the teams above

They couldn’t give a damn about the national league or the football league This sudden awareness is down to one thing and one thing only Man City the cash cow is in danger and all of a sudden it’s important the whole thing stinks

Do you think he would want it stopping if they had won the last few games under him He defo didn't seem to be shitting himself quite so much after fluking a draw at Liverpool did he? I'd be tempted though to say he would probably take it regardless as the more time he has to drill them the more chance he'll believe he has of staying up - if he could get 2-3 weeks with no games all the better. However, if he'd just beat Leeds he probably wouldn't be the most vocal campaigner for a circuit breaker.

It will happen very soon, and rightly so. Boris the muppet should never have sanctioned fans returning to grounds, with tickets allocated by ballot that just increased the number of households mixing, playing on behind closed doors with regular testing is only way possible and that should be reviewed weekly.Masks should be compulsory for all outside of homes and fines imposed for non-compliance if not carrying a exemption card issued by a doctor. Sorry if that upset`s but until everyone complies no-one is safe other countries are containing it?
