Crazy price. May even be a mistake.
Middlesbrough at 6s, Blackburn at 8s....
Great spot though.

Right now I struggle to see us score enough goals to reach the playoffs, but we won't be too far away I guess.

I'd say we have roughly a 1 in 2 chance of making the play-offs and a 1 in 4 chance of winning them if we get there so (1/2 x 1/4) of both happening so odds of 8-1 would be about right.

Makes sense.
Most Stoke fans will be 'loyal' and use Bet365. As such the bookie lowers odds to protect themselves. Its nothing to do with our ACTUAL chance of achieving promotion.
Whereas neutrals will be more likely to use other bookies such as SkyBet. Obviously the general public think we dont have a chance based on watching what we have produced so far.

I’ve had £20 on it with Sky Bet. Probably means we won’t go up now guys. Sorry!

But given the international reach of Bet365's customer base, how skewed is it, realistically, by what you describe as 'loyal' Stoke City supporters? A drop in the ocean, surely?

International reach? Yes maybe for bets on ManU, Liverpool,etc....
I would think any book run on Stokes chances will be small potatoes! ..... with the majority of punts from stokies.
