Taster released. Looks pretty great. Strange to believe that in less than two years such acrimony would cause the split

Looks good that. Such a shame Lennon was taken so young.

Strange to believe that in less than two years such acrimony would cause the split I find it mind-boggling that they were drifting towards the fractious end of nine years doing the most important and influential group in contemporary musical history - and they were still in their 20s.

I wonder if the original Get Back film will ever be made available? I think it was last shown on BBC2 in 1982. I think the old films shows them being argumentative and cantankerous. Was the old film the truth? or the new one which is supposed to have an up beat tone. EDIT: I of course meant the ‘Let It Be’ film from 1970, the only Beatles film not to have been rereleased.

It's a testament to the multitude of good tracks they wrote that if asked the same question tomorrow,i'd probably pick a different five and the quality wouldn't be diminished.

You can listen to the great albums like rubber soul & revolver full of great songs even the ones that were not on singles
Then you listen to past masters vol 1&2 and other compilations and find the other brilliant songs that only came out as singles
