Nananaanananana
The purists such as Bayern will hate it.
I really dont care if we have to win ugly, its way better than supporting a Mowbray team - play nice and lose.
Great defence performance after nicking the early goal. Take a bow lads

3 shots for to 15 against at home.
We got battered in to next week but bravely held out!

Brilliant defence, and the workload on the players has been far too much recently.....but do we really have to play like that?

Each to their own. I'd rather be entertained. They don't 'play nice and lose' every week or they would be bottom and their squad cost a lot less than ours

We are not shit. Were've been shit for three years before today. We've made a habit of losing 4-0 and going 3 down to Championship non-entities.
Today, a Stoke team missing half of its first XI got a third consecutive clean sheet, against the league's highest scorers, to move into 7th place, in the midst of a horrendous fixture logjam.
We're horrible, we're nasty and we're back. I absolutely love it. Fantastic entertainment.

Never really thought we'd concede and you've got to commend the defensive structure and effort - but, bloody hell, that was a hard watch.

More than one way to win a game and that was the best course of action today given how good Blackburn are going forward

To quote A.Durban Esq “If you want entertainment, go and watch a bunch of clowns.” We have had enough clowns the last few years, so give me this team with a bit of steel & fight in it. Finest shit housery & New Dogs Of War.

Not a game I’d like to watch again. The “I’m entertained “ argument for me is largely irrelevant. I sit down on a Saturday morning and watch the game while texting my Dad in the U.K. I find the whole process very entertaining. The mood is generally much happier when we are winning and playing badly, than losing and playing well. Happy for the three points, excited to repeat it vs Coventry.

To be fair I don’t think the manager had a choice. Clearly key players upfront and in the middle are crocked. The manager doesn’t set us out to be a Pulis defensive team, it’s just that he is forced to do it - obviously. He is clearly making the best of the playing resources he’s got at his disposal on the pitch. The positive thing is the defence is practically made up of kids with James Chester bossing them really well. Definitely can’t play every game like this, but wasn’t it just amazing to see the commitment today and hold that Blackburn team. A really appreciated and hard earned three points.
It wasn’t too long ago, that we had a bunch of Deadwood who just couldn’t give a shit about playing for our club.

Inept going forward.
But if like me you’re a fan of superb defending that was beautiful.
Here’s hoping our quality midfield players get fit ASAP... although cousins good again.

It's fine for covid times when no one can get into the ground.
Anyone that pays to watch it, well tough shit, I haven't watched Stoke since before lockdown.
Just keep grinding results out, but at some stage we'll have to change and be more aggressive and positive.

We’re missing our entire first choice midfield bar Powell and best striker. Any win at the moment is alright by me - especially against a good side who we normally struggle against.

Just keep grinding results out, but at some stage we'll have to change and be more aggressive and positive. Don’t worry we will mate. Once we get our players fit again the manager will be able to change the style. But it looks like we’ll have to do this again at Coventry unless those players do miraculously come back in time. But like I said I’m totally enjoying the commitment from the players today!

Don’t think I care that much to be honest. A win amidst this mental fixture list is a win. Wouldn’t want us to play like that ordinarily but if things were ordinary we wouldn’t be playing this many games in a ridiculously short space of time.
I’ll take those wins all day fucking long.
Get in you boring, defensive bastards.

With the amount of injurys hes having to play that way. Its working and everyone knows their job and they are doing it. It's not pretty but its effective and the performances will come when the players are back.
