The more I see of this cheating, taunting, smug-faced, cock-dribble, the more I hate him.

Weird, I don’t see any of these things, just a hard working decent full back.

I still don’t think he’s that good tbh 😂
When teams target him he tends to buckle.

The fact you've slept and woken up to that feeling is a bit odd.

Best left back in the country (Bayern talking utter drivel again😉), but yes he does have a snidey/cocky side. Scots tend to get over exuberant when they’re good at something😏

I just think he’s a weak link and one teams need to prod more.

Reckon I would give him a spin in our team though

Whether its his fault or not I blame Teflon Tony Scholes for missing that. He was too busy putting the final details onto Wimmers 5 year bullet proof contract to pay attention

I have no real opinion on him to be honest. Must be doing something right to be performing at that level fairly consistently. But its an interesting story how his career seemed to be destined for "relative" obscurity (becoming a professional footballer is a big achievement) and then suddenly he's winning all sorts of shyte in a world class team. He must be a bit of an inspiration to players in their early 20s who think they may not be getting right to the top.

How many top class full backs these days are really good defenders though? The art of defending is slowly creeping out of the game and full backs these days are judged, rightly or wrongly on their attacking abilities.

He's a fantastic player and professional came through the hard way at Queens Park.
Stoke could have signed him. In fact I emailed the club about him the first time I watched him for Dundee United, well before Hull signed him.
I also emailed the club about John Mcginn well before Villa signed him.
Now they are targeting Scotland when there's not much up here to go for

A very strange thread to make. Even more so to wake up with this incredible feeling of hate towards a full back.

I remember ringing the club up when I heard Paul Dickov might be leaving Man city. Left a message with some old dear on reception and told her to tell the manager. Don't reckon she did mind

It’s a much better tactic than just sitting back and letting it happen anyway.

So the analysts don’t work!

Neither AR nor TAA are traditional FB's.
Liverpool's conventional defending is done by the two CB's and a rotating DM, with Alisson sweeper keeping just over once per game.
The FB's are pushed high & wide. They provide the lion's share of Liverpool progressive ball carrying & passing, both have been in the top 4 for LFC's expected assists this season and last. AR's provided 35 actual PL assists.
Out of possession only Leeds pressure the opposition more intensly than LFC and no-one does it has high up the pitch as Liverpool (around a third of their pressures of their opponents happen in their opponents defensive third). Only MC come close.
AR, moreso than TAA does the majority of his defensive duties in either the opposition defensive 3rd or the middle 3rd. Midfielders and CB's individually do more pressing & tackling in their own defensive 3rd than AR does.
You can't get at an individual, you have to break LFC's defensive set up. Not easy.

Have you ever emailed about a player which stoke have went on to sign or attempt to sign within a year of your email?

The more I see of this cheating, taunting, smug-faced, cock-dribble, the more I hate him. If only "our full backs" were any of these things and produced a fraction of the quality Robertson does I'd be delighted. Liverpool got Robertson we got Tymon - which would you choose? Gouranga.
