I didnt say everything was shit though did I? I said our forward players were shit tonight, not helped by an unbelievably negative set up away from home for the fourth time in a row, against four teams who are some of the poorest teams in this League either on paper, form or both. If you choose not to read something properly, then quote it incorrectly, before calling it drivel alongside making out that I'm thick headed then that's up to you......but people in glass houses.... You expended energy to comment on a thread about positives to take from the game... “Brown was shit Powell was shit McLean was shit Ince was less shit than he has been but still shit” You skimmed over and chose to ignore the point of my comment - in simpler form, it is your choice to expend negative or positive energy. Even if you read and understood the point you further went on to take the time to reply with a further negative stance. I am curious though - what is the gain? Are you hoping for something in particular? Do you want acceptance from other that your negative viewpoint is correct or that in doing so you will change the efforts of people to showcase and view the positives - is the end game to have all stoke city supporters being negative at every instance? To will the team on with booing and instance criticism? Maybe the only way as a community of supporters can create an enjoyable refuge for people to turn to as their passion, their hobby and interest is to do so by being negative at every turn..... I don’t mean to or want to single you out, it’s not a personal dig and I know nothing of your character but unfortunately in this instance you have been an perfect example to the point and reason of my post. I skimmed over your post because it's words without formulation or meaning. It made no sense then nor does it now. It contained odd comments about my comments being unintelligent whilst at the same time spelling 'weigh' 'way'. Youre latest post is again words without meaning. I have no idea what you are saying. I am negative about the performance tonight as I have the right to be. What that has to do with acceptance, gain or a community of supporters I have no idea. I mean this isn't personal but you are a classic example of someone who is lightly educated and uses lots of words without meaning or purpose to create some erudite persona.

Got a point without 5 of our best players in the starting 11. Didn't seem to be any new injuries. I'll be honest I'm struggling to think who the five are tbh, Campbell, Clucas, Mikel..... are you including the keepers? Joe Allen Stephen Fletcher Iits obvious to everyone we're down to our 3rd choice keeper , so I didn't mention it.

Ahh fair enough, I counted Fletcher as being back but I'm not sure a 4th choice midfielder (imo) can be classed as best

Just a reminder of how many goals we conceded at Derby and at Q.P.R. last season - 4 in each game. So defensively we are much better. The lack of goals in recent games is worrying but, as has been pointed out - we have not converted chances into goals.

Negatives Brown was shit Powell was shit McLean was shit Ince was less shit than he has been but still shit We played for a point against a team in 19th, in woeful form with a - 8 GD We have now mustered a mere 4 shots on target in 270 minutes of football. One of them being a penalty miss. This is a positives from today thread. Why don’t you go create your own negatives from today thread. Better still fuck off up the Vile as your not much of a Stoke supporter really. If you can’t see what a good job MON is doing your not the brightest button either 👍 Because he's an attention speaking Prat

No way we played for a draw. We were under the cosh for the first 15 minutes and then grew into the game. We had a couple of chances in the first half which came to nothing, namely the Ince free kick, and when Brown tried to head it to McClean when it would have been easier to control and lay off the ball.
2nd half we came out of the traps well and for 20 minutes dominated. Tynon was unfortunate not to score. Only in latter stages did QPR threaten. Bursik has one save at his near post to deal with. Again a very competent and confident performance by the youngster.
Considering we conceded 4 goals both at Derby and QPR last season, both results are a step forwards. Still plenty of injuries and a massive blow losing TC for the season.

We are doing ok. We will like all teams have dips in form and consistency. Absolutely let's make the play offs our aim, but if we don't, we will be stronger next season. We have a gem of a manager, pragmatic maybe at times, but speaks such sense and humility.
