That second half tip over was a real worldie for me The lads grown in confidence since his first two games and I’m not the least bit worried if he’s between the sticks for a while

He really has done a lot better than I thought he would do and like Wezza said we have 3 top keepers on our hands. Eric Steele(Radio Derby summariser) and ex goalkeeping coach said he’s a star of the future

Gonna be interesting to see what happens in Jan.
Of the 3, I think Gunn is easily the best.
But we really shouldn’t be using him when we have 2 keepers we own.
But I can’t see Soton allowing us to send him back?

Excellent again today. It really is his jersey to lose

He was excellent today minus his kicking.
It was a pretty routine save though I thought, he would be getting pelters now if that had gone in.

He saved the point with that save, (along with the ref ), if it had gone in we had no chance today.

The confidence this spell will give him will be invaluable. Even if he goes back out to the lower leagues when the others are back he will know he is capable of doing the business at Championship level. At least we know one position is covered for a few years to come.

No way was it a penalty, Powell clearly got the ball and although getting a booking for diving was harsh I was glad he did. Almost every time Derby lost the ball they fell over, conning the referee a few times so perhaps he was fed up of it.

I've seen it at least 10 times now and its far from clear he got the ball, it still looks to me like the Derby player moves it away then Powell takes him. Either way I'm thankful the ref didn't give it.

But I can’t see Soton allowing us to send him back? Play Davies. Have Gunn as back up/cover. Send Bursik back out on loan to get more experience for next season when Gunn's gone back. It won't do him any good sitting on our bench for 4 months even if we could send Gunn back.

That means dropping Bursik mate If he continues like this that would be utter madness I still think Davies is currently a better all round keeper but I think Bursik has the potential to be top class. When Davies and Gunn are fit I don't think Jo is going to get a look in do you? It will be much better for his development to be getting game time. However, what I hadn't thought of was what Mickstupp mentions, that he could only go back to Doncaster because he can only play for 2 teams in one season and I'm not sure Donny would want him back. In that case I'd try to send Gunn back and let Davies and Jo duke it out for No.1 spot. If it were down to me I'd run with Jo. But it isn't and I don't think MON will. I may be wrong. It has happened before.

When all 3 are fit, Bursik can stay in goals for the league campaign, Davies for the Carabao Cup Quarter Final/Semi Final/Final and Gunn the FA Cup winning campaign......

After a shaky start he’s massively impressed me and he looks like a star in the making. Clearly nerves and confidence were the initial issue. As each games gone by he’s kept improving. Massive respect I can see the big boys coming in for him soon. He’s that good.

He’s played well today but a reality check, he’s played games where he’s let in every shot he’s faced. Young lad and fair play to him.

Let's also hope the Stoke City injury curse stays clear then.
