He didn't seem too concerned about Campbell but we'll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Never get too high after a win
Never get too low after a loss
Unless Tyrese Campbell has gone off injured.

Sounds like McClean will be getting a bollocking in the morning Rightly so the bloody clown. Completely unnecessary challenge when the squad is already stretched to snapping point.

Never get too high after a win Never get too low after a loss Unless Tyrese Campbell has gone off injured. Not getting too high after a win is easy enough when you’ve supported this club for any length of time because you know we’re never usually very far from a defeat. Not getting too low after a defeat is the one I generally struggle with! BM

Excellent interview, on a night of heart break I feel better having watched that. Agree. And explains his thought process for going to 3 at the back whether people agree with it or not. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t......

He really is a cool character even after a defeat. Top manager. Agree. We will see if he shares the popular view about his mistake with Vokes tonight if Saturday he drops him completely. That would be damming actually given our injury crisis! BM

He really is a cool character even after a defeat. Top manager. I wish I could handle defeat with the calm he does. He will do everything possible to put things right amd will not make excuses. I am so glad he is our manager.

I hope Vokes has some pride: I am not optimistic about this.

A good calm interview as always, but it doesn't hide the fact he dropped a clanger with his substitutions.
He's a smart manager and hopefully he'll not play Vokes ever again.

Seriously good character. I can't recall seeing such a measured manager in any league in years. We are very lucky to have him.

That would be damming actually given our injury crisis! BM He will take the pragmatic view. He has about three striker options. One of them will play, the other two will be ready on the bench. He can't afford to go behind and not have different options available to him. Moreover he can't afford to bear grudges against any of his players, however poor they may have been. However, he might give him an extra chore or two in training, to ram down a message he will never give in public.
