"The club are awaiting to find out the government new tier announcement and will be able to make a decision once this is announced" You just know it's going to be something along these lines. If that’s the answer that’s the answer What else to you want the club or the council to say? A plan of what they are looking at should we go into tier 2.

I didn’t say it wasn’t applicable to discuss it mate I only asked what you expected the club to say given the current situation

No idea re Tier 2 but at some point we will be back in the stadium, sooner the better! Can you imagine reading the minutes for this: TS quoted “At some point we will be back in the stadium” OK that sums up this quarterly meeting, we’ll schedule the next meeting for March and hopefully we’ll be back in the stadium. Christ above talk about a complete and utter waste of time.

Im sure what ever happens regarding who gets 1 of the 2000 tickets ang will have her name on one already Good luck to her if she has but what you’ve just done there is made it very awkward for her should she get one through the same channels as everybody else as you and many others wouldn’t believe her now Not sure the kick yourself and many others are getting out of all this stuff ....like said a few pages ago it’s akin to bullying when she’s done and said absolutely nothing wrong to hurt anybody Perhaps it’s just me

As a season ticket holder of over fifty years I expect no more than to be treated the same as any other fan.

From what it says we're only allowed the one game till everyone else, who wants to go, goes a game. The questions should be asked about anyone who goes to all the first few games allowed as that would be dodgy.

I can't see us entering tier 2 for at least 6 weeks anyhow i know its gutting, had precious little this year to get excited for, at least one game over christmas even in these circumstances would have been fantastic and a way for many of us to blow of some steam and shout a bit, as it is we are stuck with these bloody streams while them that live indoors ask us to just grab this or just let me hoover while the match is on

Ange ....can you ask the club to find out that no away fans will be able to attend for the rest of season ...I know it sounds a bit obvious but fans book days of work etc in advance ..so to know so I can cancel these will be good .....I’m sure the fa know that away fans won’t be attending for rest of season

Ange
can the club clarify if the ballot will be opt in ..or an auto inclusion/ process by the club ..different clubs have already used different options for their ballots .. opt in / auto ..though for some the pool is smaller as some have used actual renewal , promise to pay ST , rather than historic data
..if an opt in process , can it be confirmed , for inclusion in any COVID ballot , opt in needs to exercised from game one ... if tier restrictions continue ( or are switched on and off ) as the season progresses ..and ‘if’ the club continues to hover around the playoff spots , then games later in the season , and possibly still in tier restriction , maybe more desirable to attend than games at any initial restart
Personally think all supporters qualifying need to be in the ballot from the start ..( either placed there by the club or opted in ) rather than join only if/ when a desirable game comes along later in the season ..
Apologies if that’s already covered in the minutes or the clubs thoughts
Thoughts of others on this subject welcomed
Thanks

Scouse we will get clarity when we have a return date , but we will put forward your suggestion and any others as we get them. Reading the minutes might save repitition of questions if people have the time or inclination.

If everyone who thinks they might want to attend a game before the end of the season has to enter the ballot from Day One, then for the first few games you may end up with people not taking up the ticket if they are successful, or even buying their ticket but not attending. I am a season ticket holder in my 60s and attend with 2 other season ticket holders in their 80s. There is no way either of them would want to attend games in January or maybe even February. However, once they have had their course of vaccinations they will be very keen to attend again.

Your chances of getting tickets in a ballot my be greater than you think as myself and the other 6 people (all from different households) I sit with won't be returning until the restrictions are lifted and I know of many other season ticket holders who feel the same way.

Agree it’s a difficult one..as number of games via ballot is likely to be small ..earlyish ballot success may mean you don’t get to see another game ..so rather than ‘waste’ their go ..people hold off from the less desirable Jan/ Feb games in the hope of a desirable game later ..last game everyone puts their hat in the ring Of course it all depends on take up ..numbers allowed in and when you’re successful ..but if 2-4000 places it doesn’t need a mathematician to work out it could be several cycles before you get a 2nd game Equally don’t want fans , especially our older ones and our disabled supporters to miss out on a chance of one or two games between now and the end of the season ..in what has been a tough year for many , but especially those groups not easy

Well I always said that I didn’t think I would want to go to a match this season.
However if I get a vaccination and we are up there I may have to change my mind.
