Left in the first half of the season we have:
Cardiff (11) H Derby (23) A QPR (18) A Blackburn (9) H Coventry (19) A Forest (21) H Bournemouth (2) H
How many points would we be happy with?

I’d take 12 points. Four wins, three losses will do. We don’t draw many under MON and that’s a good thing.

Some real tough games in amongst that lot. I’ve actually been very impressed with Blackburn Rovers. They’ve been shafted by the officials today and still come away from Brentford with a draw.
All things considered I’d be happy with 12 points.

12 would be great. More or less keeping us on track for 80 points. 3 wins 3 draws and lose at one of the shit teams so it's not too injurious...

If we have genuine promotion aspirations, we need something like Cardiff (11) H - 3 Derby (23) A - 3 QPR (18) A - 1 Blackburn (9) H - 1 Coventry (19) A - 3 Forest (21) H - 3 Bournemouth (2) H - 1 from those games, giving a total of 15 pts from seven games, roughly 2 a game, which is automatic promotion form generally. I think it's naïve to think we won't lose one of those games at least, but here's hoping. I'm starting to believe in this team a bit now, still a bit open at the back to really be a contender in my opinion, but you never know...

Beating the teams below us will be the bigger challenge. Would be great to beat qpr and the scum gooner wannabees. And to bury Rooney as well. Anything between 12 and 15 points would be a great return.

Injuries have cost us a few points. Depending on key players being fit, I think 15 would be top 2, 12 would keep us top 6, Minimum 12 for me.

I’d take anything in double figures think Tuesday is very tricky as a start bournemouth looking like it might be a huge game , one for the shithouse dressing rooms

The away games are winnable and we're in great form at home. It would help if Brooks and Solanke have off days, but even if not, we can certainly get three pts at home vs B'mouth. I'll be happy if we get 21.

Hate these threads.
For me it’s all eyes on Cardiff. Let’s take one game at a time and keep that momentum going. I couldn’t even tell you who is after that game, and I don’t really care. I just want 3 points midweek

All things considered I’d be happy with 12 points. I agree that they’re a very good side. Still missing a lot of players injured too. I don’t see how they were shafted by the ref today if it’s the red card you’re referring to though. No attempt to play the ball.

On paper, it looks we should be gaining at least fifteen more points this month. But in this ‘crazy league’ and with more and more key players on the treatment table.........🤪
Cardiff (H) Derby (H) QPR (A) Blackburn (H) Coventry (A) Forest (H)

21 points obviously, but based on O'Neil's record should be 12. 15 would be a decent rerurn

Beating Rooneys Derby would be a absolute shit fest for me as I fucking despise them more than the Vale. 😉

15. Which depends on not being shafted by the refs and continuing to improve. Second seems likely.
