Interesting link. I find it odd that the HSE is attributing the reduction partly due to the pandemic as the figures only go up to end of March. Industrial activity was generally at a peak during 2019 . The hat I noticed on some of the HSE updates I get if quite a few were old people one was an 80 year old run over on site whilst she was on break 😵

Oregon USA a few years back.
Fall into Meat Blender Kills Processing Plant Worker
A cleaning company employee working at a meat-processing plant in Oregon was killed when he slipped and fell into a running meat blender. 41-year old Hugo Avalos-Chanon, a resident of Portland, died of blunt force trauma and other fatal wounds caused by the chopping action of the machinery.

I work in the water industry and we supply water treatment plants with machinery, we make grinders/macerators that basically chop mash anything that goes through the cutters, a few have gone missing in the states and have been believed to have gone through, we do the bigger units but are mainly shipped abroad. Search for the muffin monster and you'll see the type of machinery I speak of.
