WTAF🙄Crazy crazy world we live in It's a crazy world where no-one reads beyond the headline. This line in particular is of interest: "Sportsmail has learned Thompson has not been suspended and the BBC intend to use him in 2021."

Remember Thompson when he was At Charlton.
Welcome to modern day Britain where anything can offend. At this rate we’ll all be mute.

I think it's an amusing way of making reference to a basically silly situation where a bit of aggro which can only be described as ridiculous is involved.

Got to be more to it surely?! I swear I've heard Spinksy say that this season at one point or another. Absolutely. Within the story it says he made a comment about the ref's wife and suggest one of the players should wear a skirt. It also points out that he's not been suspended and will continue to work for the BBC. All of this seems to have been ignored because people want to get angry at something. Which seems to be the main aim of the story.

I don't think it matters how many times you point out the actual reality of the story, RRP, some people need to get wound up at a headline and that's that! Instant reaction is what it's all about!

They may aswell say ‘actually everything in the headline is bollocks’ but hey ho more fire for the culture war I suppose God I hate the mail

Well I’m highly offended by the word “handbags” especially as the wife spends a friggin fortune on them.
