David Villa was accused for sexual harassment this summer apparently (even though these news reached Sweden this week for the first time) when he was playing for New York FC, by the trainee Skyler Badilo.
What were his crimes you might think?
Well, she claims she will sue him because he repeatedly said he loved her.
And, make sure you sit down now if you'll faint:
He also touched her hand.
🤡 It surely has to be more than this to it? The newspapers mustn't print biased headlines and articles.

Presumably this "hand touching" wouldn't be a problem in Sweden though would it? Or perhaps playing Abba's "Take a Chance on me" to a young lady is likely to be a major issue!

Did he touch her hand with his penis? If not I wouldn’t be too concerned if I was Mr Villa

A similar thing happened to someone I know, recently. The charges of sexual harassment and indecent assault were dropped, but they got into trouble for breaching the UK rules on social distancing!

It was in between Corona wave 1 and Corona wave 2, but I suppose the social distance rule was still on. But I wouldn't trust the papers. Something else must have happened.

I think most of us brit's have a bit of Swedish and/or Norwegian DNA in us. Doesn't a punch in the throat and a gruff "your coming with me" class as a declaration of love in Sweden any more?

Whats wrong with "fancy a shag"?! ... I wouldn't think so ... but if you can't say You love somebody anymore ... what has the world become then? But you can say the opposite without any consequences.

In all seriousness it doesn't look great if the 20 year old intern is to be believed!
>>
"I thought I was getting the opportunity of a lifetime when I got that internship.
What I got was David Villa touching me every f***ing day and my bosses thinking it was great comedic material."
"That would end up being a constant. He would say it to other people, that he loved me. If I was walking out of the room, he’d yell it. If Melvyn was standing there he’d tell Melvyn that he loved me.
"His kid was sitting on his lap and he told me he loved me."
I was just cutting tape, getting tape ready for the Monday morning training, because there wasn’t a lot to do.
"I was standing there and my back was to David.
"He got up and walked up behind me and put his hands on my hips and sort of pressed me into the counter I was standing at and whispered, into my ear, that I should ‘be careful of men in the city.’

All that was pointed out in the swedish article I saw was that she'd heard him say he loved her several times and he touched her hand (as I recall it when they both reached out for coffee mugs on the shelf). I then supposed she meant hand touched hand kind of thing. THAT reminded me of a musician, singer and tv host who got covid-19 here in Sweden and a year or two before the disease he met and saw a female friend some time. When they broke up she came up with lots of accusations. In court later on it was discovered she was just a nutter, a full fruitcake. Tragic, but I got the same vibe here initially - and that's why I started this thread in the first place. Bit if there's more to it ... then it's a completely different story, as I've said. Threats and shit. Are lying detectors reliable? Are they often used?

Spanish charm or sex pest, who knows !?

In your case, musik, surely the greatest token of love you could offer would be to give up your slot in the laundry room...!
