Just heard of the death of James Lockett ( Locko) the man behind Leek TV . An avid Stoke fan and a good egg . He was 45 and by all intents and purposes a very fit man who used to run long distances. He was a police officer in Greater Manchester and very much a community champion. He was 45.
His loss will devastate Leek, but above all his family and friends who will feel a deep void with his premature departure

A great bloke and a very popular Leek character as well. This is just terrible news.
Sincere condolences to his friends and family. I can only imagine the grief they must be feeling right now.

I'm lost for words. A truly fantastic friend, who's going to leave many devastated. Never missed a Stoke game, home or away. RIP Jim.

Spoke to him and his mate in Tallin when England played in Estonia 2014 as the lad he was with came over as we recognised each other
Both nice lads and it’s very sad even though I never knew him personally
RIP

I recently moved onto James' street and he was so welcoming and friendly. Absolutely tragic and cruel to be taken away so young. Rest easy Jim.

Absolutely terrible news. I didn't know him personally, but like Wezza above, I spoke to him loads of times as we recognised each others faces from attending almost every away game during the dark days. We even fell out at a game once (Bournemouth away I think) and then celebrated insanely together a few weeks later at Cambridge. Football is amazing for that. You somehow forge a bond with complete strangers. RIP Locko. What a dreadful year it continues to be.

Can't believe I wont see him at Leek or Stoke again.
