Henry Winter on Twitter reckons mutual agreement but thats usually just posh speak for sacked. Not entirely unexpected they've been shite.

If they don't win next week, they'll be in a worse position than we were in after 12 games last season. That would be some achievement!

Only the other day Final Score said Derby's new owners would be silly to sack him. So it seems he's left at his own accord.
Wonder who they'll get in to replace him.

He’s doing well at rangers but he’ll want to be more in the media spotlight. Frank didn’t do bad after his job at derby either.

Surely having spent a good few years bringing Rangers to the point they’re at now, where they may win the title again, then he’ll want to finish the job and get that silverware on his resume. Especially when you consider a league title was the one thing he never won. I think when he leaves Rangers it will be for the premiership.

We were fortunate in that as wank as we were there were always 5-6 teams within our reach ...If results go against them next week they could be adrift of 5th bottom

I suspect the new owners have someone lined up. It will be interesting as it will have to be someone willing to accept Rooney as player coach which to me says Terry or Gerrard or similar.
