Whilst in these strange times of no crowds and only watching tv football i wonder if football is better say south of Birmingham or is the game stronger north of St Andrews. As a travelling fan i have always prefered northern trips, anything south of WBA is a bind..Going into Yorkshire,Lancashire etc is always a great day out.Suppose it depends on where you live but i always prefer a day out watching Stoke when going north.Personally always felt that clubs in the north are better than southern clubs. Thoughts

There's certainly no argument about the better football if you were simply looking at the North or South of the City of Stoke on Trent.

It's funny how we always think of the country in North or South terms not East and West!

It's funny how we always think of the country in North or South terms not East and West! Well we’re longer than we are wide so it makes sense

Well it certainly was in the days when we used to have "Star Soccer" on TV on a Sunday afternoon. Edit: Does anyone know if Soccer still exists in any form, anywhere?

Isn’t Norwich further north than brum and Leicester It's about level with Leicester and slightly further north than Brum. But spiritually/culturally/socio-economically it's south as the north-south divide is diagonal.

North all day long!
Outside of London and Pompey I just don't see the same passion in the south
