Congratulations to the first rat who follows in the paw prints of 34 dogs Then thirty two racing pigeons I found it really impressive that the equivalent cost to training a dog compared to a rat was $25k - $7k. There is however something very magical about animals being recognised with medals.

When you have a chance look up the pigeon Cher Ami who was awarded the croix De Guerre one of Frances highest medals For saving the lost battalion in WW1 Sorry don't know how to do links

Saw it in the news, it’s one hell of a big rat, the size of a Jack Russell.

Saw it in the news, it’s one hell of a big rat, the size of a Jack Russell. I think my reaction when I saw it on the 6pm news went something like; "Bless him, look at his little fa-... the size of that f*cker!" Including the tail they get up to 0.9m

What a little hero!    If you've got 5 mins to spare, here's how he did his training: Why does Stephen Hawking narrate these videos?👀
