Edit: Campbell and Fletcher would seem the most potent pairing That would be my first choice Will but I'm far from sure that the manager sees it like that. I will be very surprised if he starts with the Fletcher/Campbell pairing seeing as they haven't yet played together (was it 15 mins v Burton?) That is what I'd like to see too. You would think that there's a good chance one out of the 5 forwards wont even make it to the bench?

My own feeling is that he trusts Gregory more than anyone out of our forwards. I would say apart from Fletcher (who is as yet an unknown in terms of pecking order & there is no guarantee he will be fully fit) Gregory is probably our first choice forward. I'm reading between the lines of course, but that's what I sense. I reckon if he was thinking of starting Afobe or even Campbell next week then he would have given them more playing time today. Same with Ince. Yes, hence the post ... I kind of thought that Afobe and Campbell would have been ahead of Gregory in the pecking order but I've got a nagging feeling that you could be right and Gregory will be first choice. At this point, it's a really tough one to call. Sort of a nice place to be in the sense of having options but I'd really like to see a proper a striking partnership emerge at some point soon. Like you I think Fletcher could well be the lynchpin and I was intrigued to see if this would work with Campbell and Afobe but Gregory appears to be well in the reckoning. In a way I can see the thinking - they are both good at finding good positions and pulling defenders around - together you can see them being a nightmare for a defence to deal with. Maybe that's the starting line up and then bring on the more direct Afobe and Campbell to exploit a tired defence. Really hard to call at the moment but I'm really pleased to see that we seem to have knocked one up front on the head.
